This Matthew Wilder reference was apparently something the translator added in, but it doesn't feel out of place. Mizuo would totally reference some random English 80's song. I never questioned it while reading.

I'm watching Magical Sisters LuluttoLily and I'm really enjoying it so far. I like how the mascots are just balls.
Welp, Alien Headbutt's over. This isn't the first WSJ manga I followed that was cancelled, so it doesn't hurt as much, but it still stings because out of its batch siblings, Under Doctor and Kinato's Magic, Alien Headbutt was the only one that I liked. It had everything a hit manga should have: great art, a unique premise, creative character designs, all bundled together in an entertaining, action-filled spectacle. It's also sci-fi, which made for a nice breather from all the fantasy stuff currently running in WSJ.
It did focus too much on the fights for the first dozen chapters, to the exclusion of characterization and plot. I guess that was why it was canned. Oh well! Hopefully Akira Inui will learn from their mistakes next time.
The Kamunabi were really gonna pit a coughing baby against a hydrogen bomb
everything on the internet is true
Regardless of ethics and controversy, Jorge Gutierrez comparing AI animation to “having sex and then they hand you the baby” is nuts. Completely insane sentence. Why would you say that.
One of the most annoying genres of people on the internet are people who act like they believe science is one single monolithic thing. Like, you'll see an article saying something like "scientists studying the movement of tectonic plates", and then in the comments there'll be several smug people saying "smh why are scientists doing this instead of finding a cure for cancer", like. Why would a geologist be doing that.
Don't think I don't see you blushing

Minecraft torch lookin ass
This is actually insane. Shiba doesn't just teleport, he's a speedrunner who knows how to exploit the game's physics engine.
