If you ignored the tags and were upset, that is your responsibility, not the creator’s.
Disliking a ship does NOT give you the right to attack people who enjoy it.
Do not tell authors or shippers that their ship is “disgusting,” “wrong,” or “shouldn’t exist.” Shipping fictional characters is not a moral failing.
No one is obligated to justify why they ship two fictional characters.
Headcanons are PERSONAL interpretations, not universal truth.
Dark themes in fiction do not equal real life beliefs or intentions.
Leaving kudos or short positive comments genuinely matters.
Not every fanwork is made for you, and that is okay.
Scrolling past content you dislike is better than engaging negatively
Enjoying a fandom later than others does not make someone less of a fan.

does anyone else read multiple books at once? i find it quite boring to have my mind set on a single adventure. currently, i’m reading fahrenheit 451, great expectations, and pride and prejudice. i decided to start annotating my books, so i can be more immersed in these creative worlds these authors created! while i was at a cafe, i (sadly) forgot to bring my books. i quickly remembered that i had an online library app (it is called libby) and decided to check out a book. i always wanted to read the picture of dorian gray so i decided to see if it was already being check out by another person. it luckily wasn’t, so is started reading it a little bit. it might be too much to be reading 4 books at once, but i find it pretty fun!

it’s necessary to fight back against adult content bans obviously because it leads to queer bans, but also, you cannot forget that we must fight back against these bans because adults have the right to make and enjoy adult content. no credit card company has the right to censor what we look at. yes, this includes the “problematic kinks” and stuff you think is gross and bad. just as we deserve to be openly queer online, we deserve to enjoy adult content without fear of total censorship, and it’s absurd how few places there are to do that online nowadays
Fanfic is a great way to practice self-indulgence while writing. It doesn’t even have to be good, it just exists purely for your pleasure, be a little freak about it. Worry about quality and what other people think when it comes to works you intend to publish in a formal setting
