Ted Tonks & Andromeda Black - Marauders Era

After one successful endeavour in matchmaking you were trying your hand at another. It was evident to anyone except Ted and Andromeda themselves that they were into each other. Eventually you had set them up on a study date and told Andromeda to make a move. But she was stubborn.

As you watched the two from the other side of the library you could hear Andromeda’s thoughts. /Y/N says he likes me, but.... how could he like someone like me?/ At this pace they were never going to get together.

But then you heard a thought that peaked your interest. /She’s amazing. But she’s always with Y/N. Are they together?/ Ted thought you and Andromeda were a thing. That explained why he didn’t make a move.

Hugo Weasley - Next Gen

“Are you getting my good side Y/N?” Huggo asked as he mocked posed for you and your camera. 

He liked being in the spotlight. But he thought your muggle camera was something primitive. As was evident from his thoughts. /Who am I kidding. Y/N can never get my good side with that muggle thing. All my sides are my good side./ 

You rolled your eyes. “It’s a video Hugo. You can twirl around for all I care.”

Ronald Weasley - Golden Trio Era

You were in the woods with Harry and Ron. Just walking and talking about things. When Harry wasn’t watching where he was going. He fell into a large puddle of water, making a big splash literally. You and Ron bursted out laughing at seeing Harry like that. But as you stopped, Ron couldn’t stop laughing. So you decided to have some fun. Seconds later Ron was laying in the puddle beside Harry. Both dripping wet. Now Harry laughed too.

But you didn’t laugh as you heard Ron’s thoughts. /And now Y/N. I wouldn’t mind seeing them wet./ Those thoughts made you blush.

Arthur Weasley & Molly Prewett - Marauders era

You were a bit of a matchmaker. Just a bit. You couldn’t just sit by while two of your friends liked each other and did nothing about it. So you gave both of them a push in the right direction.  And now you were watching your friends pull back from a kiss.

You heard Arthur’s thoughts. /Wow... Y/N was right. She likes me./

And you heard Molly’s, more nervous, thoughts. /Oh wow, that was... terrifying. But he kissed back. Y/N was right, I needed to make the first move, cause he wouldn’t do it./

Edward Remus “Teddy” Lupin - Next Gen era

“Teddy?” You had asked him a question, but he wasn’t answering. He just looked at you. “Teddy?”

He blinked and suddenly seemed to pay attention. As was evident by the fact that you could hear his rapid thoughts now. /Crap, Y/N said something. I wasn’t listening. I was looking at them. Now what do I do? Smile, just smile and nod. Always smile and nod./ So he did just that. He smiled. And he nodded.

You groaned and rolled your eyes at him. “You know what, never mind.”

Teddy sighed and sat up. “No, Y/N don’t be mad at me. I’m sorry, I got distracted.”

Albus Dumbledore

It wasn’t quite a fight. You couldn’t really call it a fight, right? No one was hexing one another. No fists were being used. It was a mainly verbal fight. Two students who disliked you strongly had started it. And you were the person to finish it.

Because you could hear their thoughts you knew exactly what to say to shut them both up. Watching with a smirk as they left.

You heard someone’s thoughts behind you. /Y/N is extraordinary. They keep surprising me./ Looking around you saw the Headmaster looking at you. He smiled.

Remus Lupin - Marauders era

Your friends had convinced you to relax for once and just go with them to have fun. You did. And as you did you heard someone’s thought behind you. 

/I love it when Y/N just let’s go. They look soo happy./ One quick glance determined they were Remus Lupin’s thoughts. /I wish I could make them smile like that./ 

Little did Remus know that he already could make you smile like that. That he was making you smile right now.

Molly Weasley II - Next Gen era

“Molly, what do you think?” Molly’s cousins asked her all of a sudden.

“What?” Molly, who hadn’t paid attention, asked.

“Y/N looks totally hot, right?” They asked her, nodding at you.

The question had the redhead frozen on the spot, looking nearly scared. “I…I….” She stuttered, unable to form words it seemed. But you could hear her frantic thoughts.  /Oh Merlin. I can’t say yes. Then they’ll all know I fancy them. I can’t have a crush on my best friend./

“That’s an unfair question guys.” You told Molly’s cousins. “Let her be.” You told them and smiled at Molly.

Oliver Wood - Golden Trio era

It was years after his graduation, even years after the Battle of Hogwarts. He hadn’t been to the school in a long time, but now he was going back. The Hogwarts express was carrying Oliver Wood back to the castle. Yet, this time not as a student, but as a professor. 

He was in an empty compartment. The train had just taken off on it’s journey, when someone entered the compartment. “Mind if I join you, professor?”

Oliver looked up and was shocked to see... you. His thoughts were dumbfounded. /Y/N./ He stared at you speechless. /I haven’t seen them in so long./ He swallowed and motioned for you to sit. /They still look as amazing as ever./

Dorcas Meadowes - Marauders era

You were with Dorcas in the music room of Hogwarts. She had asked you to help her practise, and of course you said yes. 

But it was warm in the music room so you decided to take of your sweater. revealing not much more than your bare arms, but still. You could hear Dorcas’ thoughts behind you. /What is Y/N doing? Oh wow, they got a tattoo?/ She had seen the tattoo you had. 

/It looks soo beautiful. Merlin, they are just beautiful./ That thought seemed to startle Dorcas. /Oh help, I’m falling for them./

Roxanne Weasley - Next Gen era

Today was your friend Roxanne’s birthday. And you had done your utter best to get her the very best gift you could find. It was actually something Roxanne had wanted for a while, but it was hard to get.

So you were anxious to see her reaction as you handed her the little box. /I wonder what Y/N got me./ She thought as she opened. 

Roxanne stared at what was in the box. She didn’t say anything but you heard her thoughts. /H-how did they get this? This is insane. They shouldn’t be able to.../ She looked up at you. “How’d you get this Y/N?”

The twins were down the hall watching as you waited for your date to arrive. You were all dressed up for your date and apparently the twins were appreciating the sight. It started out with just thinking about how good you looked, but then Fred whistled. “Looking good Y/N.”

You looked around to see them smiling at you. Smiling back you noticed a blush on one of the twins cheeks. Fred, you knew. And you heard his thoughts.

/Wow, they really look really good. It’s not fair that Y/N is going on a date with someone, dressed soo nice. I want them to stay.../ At the realisation of what he was thinking his thoughts fell silent.

You had convinced Gideon to go into a haunted house with you. It was the night before Halloween and you were in the mood to be scared. The problem was that Gideon wasn’t. Not really.

You walked in front of him through the haunted house. Having gotten only matches to find your way through it was dark. And behind you Gideon wasn’t liking that one bit.

/Why did I say yes? I need to learn to say no to Y/N./ The thought was followed by a slight shriek behind you. /Merlin damnit, I hate Halloween./

Fred Weasley II - Next Gen era

Fred and you were goofing around. And he was trying to impress you, much like he always was. And much like always he was showing his geeky side when he didn’t want to.

Immediately he groaned and you could hear his thoughts. /Oh Merlin, I’m such a dork./ Fred thought to himself. /Why do I always do this around Y/N?/ 

But then you smiled at him. And then he smiled back at you. That smile.... Merlin, he could make anything melt with that smile. Including you.

“I’ve got it.” Fred suddenly said. 

His mind was reeling at 20 miles an hour. It was hard for you to catch even one of his thoughts. /...we’ll need more.... and then... yes, but also.... yeah, that is it.../ 

It was starting to hurt, so you put your hands to your head. And suddenly... the thought stream stopped. It was replaced by one single thought. 

/Is Y/N okay? Why do they look in pain?/ 

“Y/N?” Fred asked carefully.
