Aang is probably one of the greatest characters ever written. I love ATLA and it’s really hard to pick a favorite character but if I had to pick one, it would be Aang. A 12 year old boy had his home, his people, and his culture taken away from him. The Fire Nation took everything from him except his ideals. Aang has every reason to want the firelord dead and yet stuck to his ideals and spared his life.
