You can get into tf2 without playing the game thanks to the huuuge amount of content people make of the characters. And let's not forget the COMICS! I am happy to bring some nostalgia to people now that I am also reliving my tf2 era hah

the thing is that childhood doesn't just end when you turn 18 or when you turn 21. it's going to end dozens of times over. your childhood pet will die. actors you loved in movies you watched as a kid will die. your grandparents will die, and then your parents will die. it's going to end dozens and dozens of times and all you can do is let it. all you can do is stand in the middle of the grocery store and stare at freezers full of microwave pizza because you've suddenly been seized by the memory of what it felt like to have a pizza party on the last day of school before summer break. which is another ending in and of itself

What's the origin of your blog title?

Huchen = a type of fish and Sohn = son. It's a pun that you could translate to son of a salmon, as in son of a bitch. It's way funnier in German, promise.

Only ship I'm really into atm is zaundads haha. I was an anime teen and loved ZoSan (One Piece) and TobiDei (Naruto). And even though I never even played the game I was mad into several TF2 ships. Still makes me happy seeing any of those today. Also I'm a huge sucker for Character x reader and Character x OC because "Oh! you want to kiss the fictional man that bad?! Same!"

I can't just leave candy wrappers before throwing them away. Plastic ones have to be neat and flat, tin foil or paper I have to pull/roll into a little log shape or fold into squares (or occasionally a tiny hat for my cat).

Drawing, bookbinding, lino printing, video games, cycling

If you work, what's your profession?

Currently unemployed but I have a new job starting soon, as stage hand at a theatre.

If you could have any job you wish, what would it be?

Kinda dreaming of a little open workshop where I can craft while selling prints, books, custom shirts, etc...

Something you're good at:

I'm incredibly lucky. It's nothing I'm actively good at obviously but most things I do somehow work out fine. Downside is I'm kinda constantly on guard and waiting for something really awful to happen because my good luck suddenly ran out lol.

Something you hate:

When people are super dead set in their ways and unable to admit they might be wrong. Like, no, you can learn and change your mind based on that new info.

Something you collect:

CDs. For a gen Z kid I own a wild amount of CDs probably. I just love listening to full albums and have something physical to hold. Bonus points for an unusual format and extra art like postcards.

Something you forget:

Small every day tasks mostly. I have to write all my to-dos down or I'll forget something for sure.

What's your love language:

Physical touch maybe? For example. I like when you're in a tight space and someone wants to move past you and they touch your shoulder so you don't get startled when they squeeze through...

Favourite movie/show:

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Arcane. Movies I haven't seen in forever but think about fondly and A LOT are Excision and Valhalla Rising. THE GHIBLI MOVIES, I'm that sort.

Favourite food:

I'm a pizza and sushi girlie. Grilled salmon, love of my life, ah!

Favourite animal:

Axolotls are the coolest tbh. Cats, dogs... bears. Fish and birds are so fucking funny to me.

What were you like as a child:

A menace. One time, I was about 3, I ran away from my mum at a mall to swin in the fountain they had there. I climed into bins, jumped off cabinets, brushed my teeth with the toilet brush... somehow I survived.

Favourite subject at school:

Art and english.

Least favourite subject:

Maths. My brain has trouble processing numbers sometimes 😭

I'm very adaptive and diplomatic.

If you could change any detail of your life right now, what would it be?

If my move across the country was done already, that'd be great. I hate moving with a passion, it's so stressful and I have too much stuff >:(
