They have had a tumultuous history. Very likely on/off, with a dysfunctional hierarchy. They argue often, as we have seen them do. And heard multiple stories about. He likely shades her on social media. She likely shades him. He spends a lot of time either avoiding her, running away from her, or literally escaping town to go visit his “Best Friend”.
He avoids seeing her for months at a time while he befriends everyone in the expanding social network he shares with his Bestie, while she only talks to the same friends they have always had. She attends events with him and looks uncomfortable the entire time. He often looks tense just standing next to her. This is a happy, healthy relationship, clearly. 💀
“But holls, we know they’re unhealthy! He’s trying to rekindle the romance!”
Is he? Let’s assume you are correct, for the whimsy. To which I would say…
He’s about to return to The set, where he’ll be locked in for months with his Best Friend, who is by the way rumored to be his lover. They have a codependent emotional attachment that makes his dynamic with his “gf” look frigid.
His Bestie worships the ground he walks on, and vice versa - Hudson is obsessed with him. And highly attracted to him. He’s going to spend weeks getting high off the scent of that man’s neck while they rekindle their own “ambiguous” situation, physically bonding by means of simulating intimacy via every conceivable method.
They’re going to talk, and think, and kiss and explore each other in a safe, comfortable environment that in many ways will make Hudson feel like he’s returned home.

To include the additional attachment in this Nightmare Scenario file, okay. Maybe he loves his girlfriend. Despite everything, despite their gnarly history and their rocky everything.

Like are you actually sure? Cause the only denial we’ve got is one generic comment from last year. Otherwise it’s a whole folder of lovey dovey comments that makes even a skeptic wonder.
