okay! hope everyone's alive and well, its been a minute but fuuuuuck me this has been a rollercoaster week! i already know my mutuals have dissected everything to the bone, so im not gonna drag this on, but i wanted to make my opinions clear :)
skipping over the met for now, i wanted to talk abt hudson's movement. before anything, let me make this clear: hudson was dead wrong for putting that fan on blast. he's in the dog house for me rn. i love him dearly, but this was messy boots and i dont like that. he grew up on the internet, specifically the era in which the internet became what we know it as today; he knows exactly what tf happens when u put someone on the jumbo like that as someone w influence. that fan in no way deserved that and i dont play abt how quick slurs were being thrown at that poor girl. bad taste in my mouth.
that said; hudson is clearly at a Certain Point. he's the definition of suffering from success right now. he's constantly booked and busy, he's overwhelmed and overworked. even at the met he wasnt himself. he spoke on it too, but ppl like looking past shit. i think we can all agree he's not in a great mental space atm.
w that in mind, i think the media pouring into hudcon and insiders clocking their tea, it was too much for him. idk if he got shit from his team for how loud him and connor were all night, if he got chewed out for how much shit came out, or if this came from him alone, but it had nothing to do w us and that's a fact. shit maybe got too real and it got overwhelming.
i think this fandom struggles a lot w accepting the moral failures of our favs. hudson is a good person w a good heart who also fucked up and acted on impulse which had unfortunate consequences. two things can be true at once, and life gets a lot easier when you remember these are real and flawed ppl.
moving on, i could entertain the leak theory, but i don't think we're getting anything and thats how it should be. have we learnt nothing from previous celeb outings? never wish that shit on someone. however, its entirely possible that hudson was a little Too Turnt and had some memory lapses, recollected most of the night from social media and pap shots, and panicked bc he wasnt sure what couldve been seen or captured and what could drop. panicked response feels v accurate all things considered.
regardless, i wont be getting behind the "hudcon had a fight" theory. baseless, silly, next! also the "k gave him an ultimatum" theory... girl if i gave u an ultimatum and that's what u do w it, it's curtains 😭 single by the morning i fear.
i think hudson needs to get tf off that phone bc he's not thinking right and he's digging himself a deep hole rn. inshallah connor never interacts w this fandom online. anyway, i hope hudson gets the rest he needs and i hope that man has a therapist. no excuses, you have the money! these boys both seem like the type to be v open to it, i hope they indulge, they fucking need it.
