Maladaptive Daydreaming that I am a fire mage
pain and suffering eternal torment hell on earth
He was promised freedom!
It's debateable: should I get another shower beer or nah
The only two acceptable ways I would like to die:
- passed away peacefully a few days after or before my SO
- drowned in an Amsterdam canal after losing my balance while trying to take a piss drunk and high out of my mind
In retrospect, I wrote this while on the comeup of a 200ug tab
After years of relating to ADHD memes ok tumblr I finally made the first step and went to a doctor today about it. My test results don't come out until next week but for the time being they gave me ritalin
Here goes, help it gets better idk
#adhd #thanks tumblr
Yoooo I had the sonic and the monkey one, sonic ran outta batteries but the monkey one still works!
i’m so fucking pissed off at this picture
wwhat the fuck….
I FUCKING LOVE THIS
oh my god thank you for the second perspective, it honestly makes me feel way less stressed about this image, you have no idea
My apologies for the unfocused photos, my lens was on manual focus and I didn’t realize... (Still, better than nothing)
7/29, Evening& Night. A local festival was held during the evening, with a small parade of people supporting it. Went and watched part of it, plenty of music and dance, and a small amount of locals. Then I moved on to hunt down a much- advertised “American Party” with my friend Corey, also from an US troop. After much stumbling around and gathering up more people we find the party, which wasn’t hard at all because of the loud electronic music and the large gathering of people, mostly Westerners. There were only three Asians there, me included. The other two were Japanese guys trying to get through the crowd, but ended up getting stuck near the “music station”, where somebody’s phone was plugged into a large speaker. I tried to help them get in the vibe and kill the awkwardness by introducing them to another few guys, including this guy trying to hit up on a couple of girls by showing some killer dance moves. “Loud party” was how one of them described it. Couldn’t have described it better myself. At least there weren’t any illegal substances. But then, who needs those when you have dubstep?
7/29. CEREMONY, continued. The ceremony raged. Drums, music, speeches. United together, it’s finally the start of the jamboree. Come on people, let’s jam this jamboree together!
7/29. Finally, the day of the starting ceremony. More scouts are still arriving from all over the globe, and setting up camp, getting ready for the big night.
The line in front of the scout shop is still long, it takes approx. 3 hours to get in. Obviously I didn’t try cause I’m too lazy, instead I visited all the people offering badges to trade. Hung around the food house a little bit and decided to head to the ceremony. See my next post, continuing this one !
Why we should integrate the Girl Scouts and the Boy Scouts
The U.S. is the only country that has separate scouting programs specific for boys and girls. Why???
The programs are tailored to gender stereotypes. Boy scouts reinforces traditional ideals of masculinity, as well as the pursuit of science, while girl scouts focuses on artsy and domestic activities. Girls are limited very early on with their use of camping equipment (knives, campfires) while boys are taught how to use knives and build fires sooner. There are also a lot more outdoor trips planned for cub scouts compared to brownies.
Compared to Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts program is disorganized and less present in communities. The Eagle Scout ranking has far more recognition and is met with far more respect than the girl scout equivalent. The Eagle Scout rank is often associated with the armed forces and men can be given preferential treatment because of it. The Boy Scouts have been criticized a lot for their politics, and it’s true that this archaic organization has many outdated views and too many ties to conservative groups, while girl scouts are supporters of Planned Parenthood, and support LGBTQA rights. Placing these groups on opposing sides of the political scale is a little out there if you ask me (these organizations are supposed to teach things to kids so idk why politics??) but I think combining the groups or at least dis-associating these groups with genders would benefit kids a lot.
If we are going to eliminate gender stereotypes, we need to stop teaching them to our children. Let’s combine these two programs and make them both better. Give girls the opportunity to launch model rockets and give boys the opportunity to sell some cookies and make some crafts. This is what America needs!!
We still have girl guides in the UK, but there’s far more girls move from there into scouting than the other way round. We must be doing something right.
well actually there are girl and boy scouts in Taiwan, but unless you aren’t recognizing us as a country….
So you still have separate organisations for each sex? And neither have them integrated together?
well yes. Usually our scout program just has both boys and girls, but there are some separate programs for girls with a completely different system of ranks, badges, and all that.
The power of some Taylor Swift in a party, I guess.
Sorry about the shit quality, I had to cut down on the size cause of tumblr’s regulations.
7/28. Opening day of the highly anticipated scout shop, it took an estimated time of 3 hours to get in. We tested out our new clothesline today, (thanks to our Japanese neighbors for borrowing lending us their sledgehammer) set up our door( It was too tall, so we had to cut down a pole), and watched our Polish neighbors move in. We went to pick up the rest of our troop ( the ones who had different travel plans), made some Indonesian friends on the way. I swear I must have walked 10 kilometers today. Gonna crash. Later.
7/27, 2 days before the opening ceremony. Met some Mexicans while fetching bamboo supplies this morning. We started on our camp door and clotheslines. I walked around snapping photos of different work going on around the site. It’s amazing to see empty lots of land all around us, I can’t imagine how it will be like with people camping on them in a day of two.
7/26 night. Same date as the last photo of the plane system, we got to Fukuoka international airport in an hour and half, not even enough to finish a movie :P
After that was a three hour bus ride to where we are now. I sat next a Bangladesh scout, but we didn’t talk much on the account of us both sleeping most of the way.
When we finally arrived at the site, they put us in a hub tent first, ‘cause it was already 9:00 PM. A friendly gut next to me informed me that we had missed the worst of the storm winds, and hopefully we would have good weather incoming. Slept at 11:00. Peace.
The plane system runs Ubuntu...
I haven’t been using my account a lot. Time to revive it!
On my way to the 23rd World scout Jamboree, might as well start my blog now. Stay tuned!
