I saw your post about Texan!Keith, and as a fellow deep-southerner I feel like you are forgetting something integral to our cultural identity: the thousand-yard stare and soft spoken "god bless your heart" when someone says or does something particularly stupid.

but also consider that keith probably gets that more than he gives it

also also: keith havin a fight or flight response to that phrase because of the accompanying hair ruffles/cheek pinches/one armed church hugs (the ones that all old people are experts at you know? where they hold you in it forever like a headlock and either sporatically squeeze your shoulder or pat your back uncomfortably hard?? and youre waiting for your parents to finally be ready to leave? even tho they said yall were leaving? to all of your relatives individually like an hour ago??)
