I have a flower press in the shape of a coffin that was gifted to me and it's giving me many sefikura related ideas for some reason.

I'm need to clean off a space for my cutting mat or give in to buying a smaller one I can use more often so I can actually follow through with one of these ideas and be able to add the press flowers I want to. The few test I did with adding press flowers in my sketch book has caused some.... warping... unfortunately. Hopefully I'll remember to get to this digitally to.

I finally drew Sephiroth to go with my Cloud from last year. Just like with Cloud the other line art versions are in the keep reading and unlike Cloud a paler tone Sephiroth is in there to.

I have so many slightly different version of this drawing saved, it's kind of ridiculous.

I'm so lucky I didn't delete the .clip file for Cloud's version so I could do Sephiroth in the same file. Making my time having to color pick much easier as well as being able to compare them together. Their going to be my little png dolls to do whatever with now.

I managed to get some vacation for my birthday day so I'm messing around with my hoard of art supplies to try and get into a creative mood, so here's a sketch of Sephiroth I started to mess with.

Hopefully I can get into a good mind set so I can pick up my Chirithy plush project again. They're so close to being done and I was trying to finish them last year for my birthday so maybe I can get them done this year.

I'm dumb and forgot that since I have the new Sephiroth OG outfit in ec there is a way to view it in game, so instead I took a screen shot of the win screen with Sephiroth OG in front to use as a ref. But first sketch of the year done.

It's October so it's time to draw a Delilah again.

I noticed I somehow for got to upload last years pic (the left one) so have two this year. Guess that actually works out though, since this year i just use last years as a heavy ref cause I didn't really want to think about a pose or line art. (I'm a bit out of practice when it comes to digital art at the moment)

Couldn't decided on which line art I liked more so have all three. The other two are in the read more.

New years made me realize that I have some how never have drawn Cloud or Sephiroth at all, namely their kh looks. Which I must correct at once.

Having a bit of troubles with Cloud's hair at certain angles, but out of all the drawings I did last night/early this morning this one is my favorite.

Reverse Nugget my also beloved spirit pet, mashed together of black axolotl star and black lamb star, that I some times lovingly call Chicken.

Thats a wrap for me art wise this year. I really enjoyed messing around with traditional art supplies like this. Especially with Oath's (the keykid in this set) and learning how my inks layer and blend with each other and not just by themselves. I really love how her hair turned out.

I love how the darkling one turned out, though I do wish I did a heart instead of the swirl eye but I didn't think about that til I was scanning it. Oh well.

On the last one I felt like the color fit Ava and Darkness so up you who you think it is.

And Mog, the only cannon named character of the players party, which is both funny to me and also a little messed up.

I wish the red inks i have didn't all have a green sheen/tone to them for some reason from this set on. Even the standers would dry with green parts and its not cause of my brushes. They all just have green in them for some reason.

So one of the inks from the ink advent calendar I've been talking about is called wilted rose and I felt the deep need to do something with it relating to Lauriam/Marluxia and that just start a pattern for me.So I ended up making post cards with the inks, drawing mostly khux stuff.

Used a little bit of sharpies here and there for gold and silver stuff (such as their buttons and Brain's earring) and one of my brush pens for a little bit of line art.

I'm very happy how most of them turned out, just not to happy about how my printer scanned most of them but thats something I can't really fix unfortunately. (I played with the setting for so long and this is the best It got)

At lest I love how they look in person. To bad the shimmer and sheen on these guys doesn't translate with either my printer and phone camera.

that time of year again for me

I ended up using that ink advent calendar for the rest of the pieces I did and that wasn't the plan at all but despite me being kind of upset about how many of the colors in that are very similar, I am having fun working with colored inks.

Sucks that most of the inks are going to look pretty much the same cause my scanner cant pick up the glitter in most of them which changes how some of them look (though the one in this test is a stander so no worry for it thankfully)
