Everyone isn't a forever friend or lover. Some relationships are temporary. People grow together and apart. You can part without animosity or hard feelings. Everything isn't always meant to be a lifelong thing. There's beauty in letting go and growing in different directions.

Social anxiety: is a discomfort or a fear when a person is in social interactions that involve a concern about being judged or evaluated by others. It is typically characterized by an intense fear of what others are thinking about them (specifically fear of embarrassment, criticism or rejection), which results in the individual feeling insecure and that they're not good enough for other people.

Friendship is, three in the afternoon laughing on the floor for the third time that day. Friendship is, sitting there and eating in silence because you would rather eat than talk and they would too. Friendship is love in the strangest ways when all else is lost."

Soulmates.

I think they exist. Just not always romantically. I think there are certain people you will meet in your life who just connect with you more than anyone else and you just know it isn‘t a typical thing and you understand eachother perfectly. This person won‘t always be your "significant other" I mean it could be your friend, sibling, parent, the person you‘re dating or whoever. It could be just about anyone you've ever interacted with.

To all the kids who:

- grew up smart and lost it when they got to high school and don‘t know what happened.

- are so bright but just can‘t focus academically.

- are told their effort isn‘t good enough when in reality they don‘t understand.

- are too shy to ask for help and go without it and therefore don‘t reach the potential they know they have.

- are so brilliant in class but underperform in exams.

- have to pretend that they don‘t care about their grades because they constantly underperform and don‘t want to look stupid.

I am amazed that we mourn suicide but constantly deny Depression.

The fact that students will really commit suicide because of failing grades shows, how much pressure is put on young adults to figure out what they want to be in life. Stop teaching young people that failure isn‘t an option or unacceptable. That kind of discouragement is harmful.

Grades don't measure intelligence and age doesn‘t define maturity.

Do you know that feeling you get at night, when you‘re all alone? You start overthinking everysingle thing you did, you said, you thought. This feeling is the worst. You just feel empty. You even feel the pain from years ago. You can‘t sleep because the thoughts are so big, that they don‘t let you sleep.
