We all want to know how it ends-- Oh, happily ever after, wouldn't you know, wouldn't you know Oh, skip to the ending-- who'd like to know? I'd like to know Author of the moment, can you tell me, do I end up, do I end up happy? "Happily Ever After" by He is We I'm having tons of fun going back and telling my story in order, but I'm completely serious that I have NO clue how this one ends. We've had so many ups and downs along the way, and part of the reason why I'm blogging the story on here is that it is SUCH a relief to have an outlet for all these memories and words that I've written over the past year. I would LOVE to skip to the ending, to know how it ends, but whether or not he and I get a "happily ever after," I know I'll end up happy. Of course I'd love for us to work out, but I have a great life, great friends, and a great family, and I don't need him to make my "ever after" happy. 🌀HZ

Exactly two If I got a tattoo, Did you know That’s the word I’d choose too? I’d put it on my wrist just like you-- A note to show choose good: a daily cue So much meaning packed in a one word clue-- Reinterpreted not so long ago-- You just told me so much about you. How many people in that room knew the meaning of that word though? I’d say exactly two. We may or we may not ever know each other-- But my God, I hope we do. Really, ever since high school, I thought that if I got a tattoo, this is where and what I would get! Isn't that crazy?! Also, I fell a bit behind on my personal posting schedule, so I'm going to post a few times today to catch up. Sorry! :) 🌀HZ

After all this time, I don’t remember the exact details, the exact day, or even the exact month, But I will never forget the exact moment When noticing Turned to Knowing-- You sat two rows behind me I turned around, Our eyes met-- It was too powerful, I backed out, looked down-- Eyes landed on your wrist, Read your tattoo. How crazy is it that the guy in my online class that I'd wanted to meet and the kind guy in my in-person class that I thought was worth knowing were the SAME PERSON?!? I mean, what are the odds?!? I sat in the front of the room, and he sat two rows behind me, but the professor often taught from the middle of the room--obviously paying attention to the professor was the only reason I turned around... 😂 Also, I've always admired the way Taylor Swift puts her real life experiences into honest, heartfelt words and songs, but not until I started sharing my real life experiences on here did I realize how BRAVE she is putting her real name on those songs!! And she even names people in the lyrics! I had to go the pseudonym route, and I'm honestly still nervous about that! 🌀HZ

Blaze The second I learned your name My heart blazed, “of course.” Of course the bibliophile boy online And the kind boy in class Were the same person-- Of course. Just like Zephyr isn't my everyday name, Blaze isn't his, but that's been my nickname for him from the start. I'm keeping our names a secret because while it's a relief to have an outlet for sharing the words that were bursting out of me, and it's really fun to share my story on here, I don't EVER want him to find out about this Tumblr account! 😂 🌀HZ

So to recap my story so far for those of you new here (hello!)!, in the first week of class, I took serious notice of a guy in my online class (though his bio hahaha), and a guy in my in person class (through an overheard conversation). I didn't know what the online guy looked like, and I didn't know the name of the guy I'd noticed in person...

Usually when I say universe, I mean universe, but in this case, I mean the girl who was sitting next to me talking to him! She and I were close acquaintances (the kind who sit next to each other in class because we don't know anyone else well enough!), and while they were making casual conversation, he and I kept making shy eye contact, and the whole time I was thinking Universe--aka girl sitting next to me--UNIVERSE HELLOOO BE A FRIEND AND INTRODUCE US but alas, that did not happen, and he went back to his seat two rows behind me at the end of the break. 🌀HZ

Meanwhile, I went to my in-person class for the first time, and during the break, a guy I didn't know stood and talked to the girl who was sitting next to me. I was completely captivated by his kindness, genuinity, and thoughtful questions. He exuded passion and excitement about life. I figured if it only took a few minutes of an overheard conversation for me to get that impression of him, that he was worth knowing. I remember thinking that out of everyone in that classroom, he was the one I wanted to meet. I also remember thinking it was really funny that after 5 years of not finding any guy interesting enough to go out with, in one week I suddenly was interested in meeting two guys! 

(Spoiler alert: they were the same person and I just didn't know it yet!)

"Love looks not with the eyes but with the mind." I wouldn't say I loved him after reading an online class bio, but I was certainly interested in meeting him! I didn't know if he was an online-only student or if I would have classes in person with him at some point. The photo next to the bio wasn't large enough for me to recognize him from it.
