Adam: "The songs are quite unmistakable HURTS, but the atmosphere is more rooted in rhythm and technology." Theo: âLights was so different from anything we'd done before and because we felt that the song was working and we had learned a lot from it, this experience gave us the confidence to take on new adventures. It was very exciting to change the approach and to deal more with rhythms and grooves. â The work on DESIRE began right after the Surrender Tour wrapped up. "We wrote "Beautiful Ones" and "Ready To Go" in the first week", - says Theo about the first two songs in the tracklisting of the album. Both pieces were written within a few hours. - "It was exciting, because they felt very familiar, but they sounded progressive and fresh."  đ”Beautiful Ones - A Celebration of Individuality. đ”Ready To Go - âIt is a song that celebrates life. The refrain works like an old blues or gospel chorus, which continues to grow.  It was really exciting to put it in a pop song format.â To be continued...
READY TO GO | 01.09.17 #HurtsDesire
Adam: "It was clear to us that "Ready To Go" is something special. We knew that from the first moment". Theo: "It's a song that celebrates life. Refrain works like an old blues or gospel chorus. Was really exciting to put it in a pop format."
Theo: âReflect on how we change as people and how our skills sort of change and i think itâs just reflecting on some times in our livesâ (Artefactor interview) The joke is on me... but still think itâd make a good album title.
Adam: "Umbrella is a symbol of protection." "The idea of protecting somebody or being protected is like the most powerful image or idea" (about Wings)

ugh, itâs probably the one who already got lyrics from âPerfect Timingâ and felt the need to throw them into our faces without giving sources.
yeah itâs almost always that one
Theyâve played Perfect Timing along with other tunes on the RADIO past week. Thereâs your source. Google it. Also, suggest you to think before accusing anyone in any illegal actions, considering how much effort it takes to prevent such actions.
You canât worry about what people will think because it does your head in. All we have to do is make sure the idea is right. Weâve always been aware that from where we came from, being on the dole then working hard, that if we know weâve done our best, itâs fine. Itâs exciting when something comes out, thereâs no panic, because the day it was finished was the day we were totally happy with it.

i will cry if âperfect timingâ is about their friendship and how they met and all
Regretfully, Itâs not their 10th Annyversary hymn... as âat the backstreet bar on the Champs Elyseesâ mentioned.. but then âin this dark room you led me to the lightâ might of actually hint to something.. *set your imagination free* ;D
So... BRF1 Radio previewed some tunes from Surrender past week.. including Nothing Will Be Bigger Than Us, SKOH, Rolling Stone, Kaleidoscope and Perfect Timing. And i forgot to post about it.. oops. âWe were in the wrong place, but it was Perfect Timing..â

TED BELLY ALERT THIS WAS POSTED 5 DAYS AGO HOW DID NONE OF US FIND IT BEFORE OMG HOLD ME SOMEONE PLS ALSO HOW THE HELL DO THESE RUSSIAN WEBSITES GET THIS SHIT HURTSBAND THEO HUTCHCRAFT ADAM ANDERSON SLOW Yea yea, shootyourarrows youâre so smrt, of course no one found it before you did *eyeroll* Just some actually choose not to kill the thrill of the suspense and excitement from the actual OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS for others.
Not to mention you were the one who leaked SKOH in 1st place, which is totally ILLEGAL btw. Congrats! Youâre definitely Number 1 HURTS Fan. Thanks for your respect for the band. SMH.
+ Blind, The Road, Unspoken, Wings - Sunday, BTL Whatâs your perfect setlist?
"'Lights' might be the poppiest, funkiest thing that Hurts have ever recorded"
Rolling Stone - the new single from the upcoming HURTS 3rd album âSurrenderâ.
âBeautiful people of the world. Surrender is coming. Today we are very pleased to present the next chapter... ROLLING STONE. A Love Story.â Â - HURTS
A love story: âIn Belarus she was a vespertine, she danced the go-go for the bourjousie.. now she's here and she's on her knees... ooohâ
I wonder what was âthe inspirationâ behind this one. A real life erhm... âexpirienceâ perhaps? xD
To sum it up: - It is mindblowing. The DOT. - Tho live version is truly perfect.. esp. with the backing vocals in my fave part âshe keeps on living like a...â @ 2:17. And all those dramatic sighs and moans, minus the studio versionâs electronic vibes in Theoâs voice. Perfect!
- The video should be heavily graphic, dramatic and cinematic, just like the story told. Ideas? - Itâs the same girl -  Lauren - on the cover (whose hand tries to steal Theoâs heart on the cover of SKOH), in case you were wondering. - All in all.. unlike SKoH, it has a real potential to rocket HURTS to the top of the charts. So letâs keep on making the marginal notes on this chapter.. cuz itâs a truly BRILLIANT one. (But i will Surrender only when the entire âbookâ comes out). Cheers! Love, X.

đŹ In fair Verona where we lay our scene?... Wonder which one will we get to hear sooner: SOS or Rolling Stone in a studio quality?
Directed by Chino Moya, the â60s-themed visual stars the UK synthpop duo as they fall into some type of Scientology-looking cult in the middle of the desert. It is definitely an odd clip that youâll have to watch more than once, but at least Hurts are not taking the basic route!
