“bbang! i got you, didn’t i!” she exclaimed, forming a gun with her fingers and pretending to shoot him, her lips spreading into a full-blown smile, eventually bursting into laughter. “i thought so, i knew it, your profile doesn’t seem to be completely true, too!” she covered her mouth with her hands and giggled, shaking her head. “but since i’m a nice noona, i’ll keep it a secret for you. anyway, you guys are hella tall, so no one would know--a chicken sandwich sounds good, quite frankly, maybe we should grab one.”

Bands: talk about a song/band/lyric that has affected your life in some way.~ My darling Amber (@ajls​) wrote the most wonderful song, Beautiful. I’ve known her from our Infinite Youth days (yay, G9!) and we’ve been good friends since, so I guess I can say that I’ve seen her struggles–in work, and in her personal life. Despite the numerous struggles, she strived hard and survived, and look at where she is now. I couldn’t be any more proud of her, really. Whenever I’m down, I put this song on, along with a few others, just to remind me that pain is inevitable, and that I shouldn’t let this hinder me in my journey. The song reminded me not to lose myself in this industry of ideals and standards, and that no matter what happens, I should fight and walk forward with my head held high.

Daisies: what is the greatest accomplishment of your life?~ The greatest accomplishment of my life? Quite frankly, there’s a lot I can pick from, but if I were to select just one, I would say I consider it the greatest accomplishment to have gone through a journey with my girls as Rainbow. I think we ended on a high note, the retirement being inevitable and everyone going their separate ways, having settled things amicably.But more than that, it’s already a great accomplishment for me to have found these six women, all of whom have become my sisters; in an industry based in ideals and set standards, I think to have real, true friends who would rather suffer through the storm with you than abandon the ship to save themselves even though numerous opportunities have presented themselves.. I think that, in itself, is already a great accomplishment.

1975: what is the first happy memory that comes to mind, recent or otherwise?~ A happy memory, definitely, would be when I got together with my girls! I sound so clingy–though, to be honest, I am. I was so busy during our last days together, we couldn’t even go on a planned trip together. Maybe one day! For now, I’ll be content with seeing them rarely. Anyway, we still talk on the group chat!

matte: if you knew that in one year you would die suddenly, would you change anything about the way you are now living?~ Oh, not at all. I think the way I am living now, seizing each day, is already good enough. I’ve done things I wanted to try, and now I’m doing things I love and enjoy. I guess the only thing I’d change about it is that I’d make more time for my precious ones. Then again, I guess now that I’ve transitioned into being an actress, I’ll probably have more time for them.
