you get your childhood dream of going on your favorite game show. you play a great game and make it to the final four. you get forced into making fire to survive and lose to the ultimate winner.
you did well enough to immediately get invited back to another season two weeks later. the person who beat you gets voted out. you play an objectively better game than last time and make it to the final four again. the fans vote for another firemaking competition and you’re put up to it once again. you once again lose by a landslide.
people are watching the finale live and the host spoils that you lose fire in front of millions of viewers, leaving you to sit and watch the world mock the moment. any power that firemaking may have had vanished, tarnishing your final moments.
against all odds, you keep up a good attitude. you leave the two seasons as a historic player and a fan favorite, and while not having made it to the end, you’ve carved your name in history.

joe being in a season where he is completely out of his depth is so funny. he doesn't like survivor at all. he doesn't seem to even understand what the game is. every time someone does anything it pisses him off badly. i hate to say it but i'm not even mad he's on this season any more.
