Skye looked up from her laptop and smiled a little at the figure that stood in the door "Yes?" she asked cocking her head.

because he is so darn sexy and I love his ass and his pecks. Oh my God he makes me so weak at the knees, and Jemma is the greatest because of her Britishness, she should just get with Fitz already, but I'm Skye so I'm too awesome for the British.

She raised an eyebrow. “Coulson’s the new director? I was expecting Hill. I think my ex-husband is still clean, too. But I haven’t talked to him for a while. With my luck he went from police lieutenant straight to HYDRA agent. How’d you get picked up, anyway? You look like anything but SHIELD material.”

"After I was old enough to leave home; I wanted to know exactly who my parents where; that lead me to SHIELD, researching them with my fantastic hacking skills, they then unfortunately found out and questioned me about it...kind of" she exclaimed shrugging.

"Oh me?---I was just researching something...if you call this research"

  "There’s nothing the apologise for Sky" he said, still smiling.

"So what you doing here? You work for shield?" he asked trying to start a conversation with the woman.

"Yeah, only just been officially recruited; Level 1 agent" she exclaimed "It's pretty great"

"The design? Well, it’s going to be a bit like the night night gun. Except more powerful with a greater range. And hopefully we can even get it so the bullet itself is dissolvable. So like those plaster for people with hemophilia, it just dissolves into the body so there’s no trace of it. It might come in handy when we need to cover our tracks, and it minimizes the necessary casualties when we’re on missions." Jemma announced proudly.

"Well, I hardly understood a word of that but it sounds good to me" she exclaimed, only taking in a few words was pretty much the norm for Skye but she had gotten used to it by now, and it was nice for her just hearing Simmons go on as she took in as much information as she could wishing she was just as intelligent.

Grinning Jemma stopped her work and focused on Skye and the conversation.

"Fitz is helping May in the cockpit with something" she gestured above them before answering the rest of the question. "But we’re doing just fine, as always." she smile widened "what about you, Skye? How are you doing?"

"Oh of course he is; you two are always so busy" she exclaimed with a small smile "I'm doing pretty good myself to be honest, although I think one more minute of this hacking will make me go completely mental".

Sam gave a small nod in agreement, sometimes seeing things like that was just too overwhelming; and the agents here had to just past it over and cope with it as best as they could manage. Turning towards her at her question he gave a sarcastic smile.”Yes, yes we are. How else are we going to get to the restaurant?”

"Well I don't know; thought you might fly me there" she joked a little as she looked up at him with the smile on her face widening. She looked at the top of the elevator and to her surprise it seemed like they nearly had reached the bottom.

The barista soon brought their drinks and Jemma sighed as she sipped hers. “Heaven.” She commented with a smile. “So Skye, how are you liking SHIELD so far?” She asked, starting conversation.

Skye smiled a little as she took a sip of her own drink "Yeah, it been pretty good; although one more minute of hacking something and I'm going to go mental"

Jinx smiled at the young woman, eyes soft and sparkling. In answer to her question Jinx held up the pot of coffee she was holding in her hand, “I asked if you wanted any more coffee dear.”

Skye scratched the back of her head as she looked up from her laptop "Yeah sure, it will keep me up for as long as I need to be" she exclaimed smiling.

  Andrea couldn’t help but to wonder where the hell she was now or merely she’s lost although she wasn’t sure where she would go since one of her ‘boss’ asked her to move to New York for a work of a kind that she actually accepted, whilst walking through the corridors, someone accidentally bumped her ,causing her to drop her things. “No…no that’s fine”

"My mind is totally pre-occupied at the moment" she muttered as she looked towards the woman "Is there any reason you are here?" she asked cocking her head a little.

"Right? It’s every klutz’s necessity," she laughed, glancing down. When Rainy heard where the stranger worked and who she worked with, her face brightened somewhat. "Oh, they’re brilliant scientists. I’ve never really had a long conversation with either, though. You must be extremely intelligent yourself, huh?" Realizing she hadn’t yet introduced herself, she added, "I’m Lorraine Smith, by the way. I work over at Colombia right now."

"I wouldn't say extremely intelligent; I'm about average" she muttered shrugging she wasn't exactly the most intelligent but she liked to think of herself as good enough. "I'm Skye" she exclaimed holding her hand out to greet the other.
