Bucky shrugs with a noncommittal snort. “I wouldn’t call them tabs, Wilson.” Then he works over the words, his lips pressing together. “More like… Notes. Longer than tabs, shorter than reports.”

Sam blinks. Eyelids fluttering open and shut slowly as he processes Bucky's words. "Right...good to hear that.." He drawls out,"Although, that doesn't explain the constant following, yes I've noticed, and completing assignments for me."

“Rude? I call it victorious,” Natasha replied in an obviously happy tone. “C’mon, lighten up. Rematch?” The glint in her eye was completely evil and devious. Truth be told, part of it had been a little bit of luck, but Natasha caught on quickly and was always able to adjust. “Or do you want to call your Mario Kart therapist to soothe those wounds?”

“Rematch?” He scoffs, voice soft enough that she couldn’t hear exactly what he had said. Shifting in his seat he presses down harshly on the ‘a’ button to start a new race. “Not real. Let’s start the game.” He cuts in, tone stern and cold as he focused solely on the screen.

“How did you burn the soup?” Sam asked incredulously. It was soup for god’s sake. Sam couldn’t really understand how the other man could accomplish something nearly impossible to do.

“Yeah, but I know you worked hard on it, and - ” Steve presses his lips tightly together, knowing Sam’s dismissal of his apology is not an invitation for him to offer more. He’ll have to make it up to the other man in other ways, and he becomes fully determined to do so. He eyes the menu Sam pulls out and gives his own nod of approval. “What would you like from there? At least let me do the ordering for you.” So he can make sure to pay, and so Sam doesn’t feel the brunt of his own massive order.

“Steve..” Sam starts, eyes shifting away from the menu to find Steve’s. He knew what Steve was doing.  Sam just didn’t know how to reassure the man who actually looked like someone kicked a puppy. So in the end, he didn’t fight against him on letting him order the food. Holding out the crumpled paper for the blonde to order his own dinner. 

 “Beef Lo mein and an order of potstickers." He finishes, a small smile on his face as he gives Steve a soft pat on the shoulder. "Thanks  Steve."

“Sam! I did it!” Wanda so proud of herself for learning to knit. What else was there to do when you were stuck in a building and unable to go outside?

Swiveling around in the chair Sam took in the sight of Wanda’s labor.  “How long did this take you?!” The sweater was flawless.
