"You look familiar- do I know you?"
His hair was pale like hers. He held himself the way those of power should. Yet she couldn't recall meeting this young man.
Oh Fun// OPEN// Canon Verse
"Yes the feast, the meals will be grand and with so many eyes present I doubt he will try anything to dastardly." She could see the Queen watching them, she had to wonder why Aeserys would try and draw the attention of Queen Cersei. Perhaps there was a power play going on, how peculiar. Afterall, that was her aunty, by marriage of course. There seemed to be more going on then what was visible to the eye.
She had to wonder though, Aeserys was of age and her Father, Lord Stannis had requested her Father to join them in Kings Landing. Perhaps it was time for the Baratheon to be married off, an alliance with the Tyrells was a good one for any family. They had wealth and power, an beneficial alliance indeed. Word had been circulating that Stannis was out on the prowl, looking at suitable men. She had to wonder if Aeserys knew.
Aeserys smiled and nodded, before commenting, "Your brother is doing wonderfully. No wonder so many people place wagers in favor of him." While she didn't care much for sport, she had to admit the Tyrell boy did make it look elegant and less like men hitting each other with sticks.
Elara finally appeared by Aeserys side and leaned down, murmuring to the girl in Valyrian, "Your 'father' is speaking the the Tyrell man. What I've heard and been told, Stannis refuses to speak to Tywin, despite the king's wishes." Aeserys looked over at the Dornishwoman and nodded, before Elara left.
So it would more than likely be a Tyrell, though which one would be the question. Either way, she would be getting out of King's Landing, and that was something she was more than looking forward too.
A Dragon Among Us
"I think I’d do that to my brother anyway," she replied. "See how he likes being treated so poorly. It’d make for an interesting social experiment, anyway." Ella smiled thoughtfully. "We should start a club. The ‘My Brother is a Giant Dick’ League, or something like that. I bet we could find a lot of members for it."
She nodded as Aeserys described New York City, grinning as she did. She sounded exactly like Ella did when she spoke of Chicago, right down to the living conditions — not the best place, but the best friends. Well, some friends. She didn’t have all that many, but the ones she did have, she liked.
"Trust me, Boston’s not that great. But then, I guess I’m a little biased since my family lives around there. I kind of really hate their guts."
Ella beamed when the girl gave the barista a great tip. Ah, yes, she’d found a good one. Whatever she was, she couldn’t be that bad.
"I’m Ella. It’s all good, I forget to give my name sometimes." More like she didn’t give it out to anyone who didn’t ask, and occasionally not even to those who did. But she didn’t have to know that.
Aeserys was still smiling, and for once, she was having a genuinely nice conversation with someone. A normal person, someone who didn't want to kill her, whether it be for what she was, or being related to 'Vicious Viserys'- which was literally the stupidest moniker that she had ever heard. Because her brother wasn't vicious; Viserys had other people do his dirty work for him.
"Ella- I like that name. It's normal, but simple and elegant. That, and it sounds the way it spells." She wasn't a fan of her name. Aeserys, such a mouthful, and foreign, though it was just as odd as her last name. It was like a neon sign saying she wasn't some normal creature. It sounded dragon-like, honestly, and she didn't need people knowing that.
Sitting back down and taking a drink of her latte, that was still steaming hot- again not that she noticed- and asked, "Have you lived in Chicago very long, Ella?" While it was a basic conversational question, it was also something Aeserys used to judge whether someone was, well, possibly a hunter. Hunter's didn't really live in places, and if they did, not for long. Which Aeserys was hoping this girl wasn't, because Aeserys liked her, and wanted to have at least one friend in this city.
The Stag and the Dragon
He groaned as Aeserys read out the message, flopping back onto the bed, though he chuckled at her comment about his love for the fruit. “Come now, my lady, I hardly need to explain their allure to you. They taste so much better than the dull, tasteless produce that usually grows here.” Ellery grinned at her, taking another bite and wriggling his way over to her.
He picked up the tiny scroll, reading over it again, brow furrowing. “Does this mean that poncey lion is going to be trailing after you the entire time we are here? Robert wants the twins to grow up here, he can’t mean to leave us with that insufferable man for years on end.”
Aeserys chuckled and pointed out, "This could be an advantage. The only real connection Jaime had to his family loyalties was to his sister. With their little break-up, he could be an asset- Elara, when's Tyrion returning to King's Landing?"
The Dornish woman looked up from where she was flicking through papers and replied, "Should be back in a few weeks. He was visiting Sunspear. Oberyn sent a letter, that the youngest Lannister has no loyalties to Tywin at the moment."
Humming an affirmative, she smiled as she took another bite of the dragon heart fruit, thinking aloud, "Tyrion is already an ally, and it wouldn't be hard to keep him as one. Which means Jaime could be one." Glancing over at her handmaid, she added, "I mean, he kind of is one, and we do owe him just a bit, don't we?"
A Dragon in Frost
Christian watched as Aeserys took easy control, sending the men scattering. He wouldn’t lie, the act impressed him. It was so rare to meet a woman who could command a room so expertly… The only other person he knew who could do that was Emma, and he’d only seen those scenes on the news. “I’m glad I’m not late,” he said with an easy grin, looking at her with a smile, “No need to have you committing a crime in the name of relieving the monotony.”
He winked at her charmingly, easy and confident. He was, after all, here at a dinner party, acting as her “date”, albeit non-romantically. “The more you talk about your brother so viciously, the more intrigued I am to meet him,” he said with a small chuckle, “Granted, I have my share of despised family members.”
Aeserys chuckled and flicked her eyes over towards her brother, only to see him seething and glaring at her, weaving between people in her direction. Taking another sip of her drink, she smirked and informed him, "Then it's your unlucky day. 'Vicious Viserys' is making his way over here. Just keep in mind he's completely mental, and don't take anything he says seriously."
Her brother had chosen to attempt to look like a true Targaryen that night as he reached his sister; black suit, crimson shirt and black tie. Overall, he looked like some mobster wanna-be, and Aeserys would not be letting him live it down. Giving her brother a bored stare, she asked bluntly, "What do you want? I'm here, and I look presentable, that's all you said."
"Who's your friend?" Her brother gave a fake smile, attempting to look polite and respectable, disregarding his sister's behavior. Which, in turn, made Aeserys roll her eyes.
Loki raised an eyebrow. “You are joking, right?” He looked between the two silver-haired siblings. “You understand that I could have you both executed for conspiracy?”
Aeserys smirked as her brother paled visibly. She'd chased her words precisely to be incorrect and Viserys damn well knew it. As his grip tightened on her arm, he attempt to recover, "Your Grace, please forgive my sister, she tends to speak of things she doesn't understand."
Viserys yanked Aeserys away after him, while the younger girl hissed, her scaled immediately rising under her sleeve and the molten heat of them forcing her brother to let go, berating her instead, "What in the Seven Hells is wrong with you?! You can't just say things like that! I want an army to reclaim my throne in Westeros, not here or anywhere else, but you damn well made it sound that way! 'Giant chair of pointy metal'?! That's every throne in the Known World! Iron Throne, that's known to be Westeros' throne, you idiot!"
Aeserys glowered at her brother, but growled at being called an 'idiot'. Obsidian scales quickly crawled up her neck and down her arms, her eyes flashing even brighter purple and liquidly becoming serpentine. Viserys stepped back, trying to keep a low voice as he told her to 'stop being a monster'. The heat that her scales produced began to melt the metallic gold thread woven into her dress, while the fabric steamed as it threatened to catch fire.
REBLOG IF YOUR MUSE IS NOT A VIRGIN
Hey you guys. This is my 13 year old brother, Cooper. He just went to a school dance and asked me to help him pick an outfit because he wanted to impress girls, so i helped and gave him some tips on how to pick up the ladies. He told me “it would be easier if i had good looks…” Which just absolutely broke my heart. This kid is in 7th grade. He was convinced that no girls were ever going to like him. He also called himself chubby and said that he was ugly. I told him not to listen to anyone who says stuff like that about him, but he said “no one says it to me, i just say it to myself because it’s true”
I wanna show him that it’s not true.
Reblog this so i can show this post to him and prove to him that he’s not ugly and he is a lil cutie just the way he is.
Please tell this kid he is the cutest thing I've ever seen!!!!!!
The Stag and the Dragon
He grabbed a fruit as well, simply bringing it to his lips to breathe in its delicate fragrance for a moment, oh how he’d missed it while they were on that awful ship. Ellery grinned over at his lady, leaning over to place a kiss on her cheek. “Maybe we can, my love. Robert certainly seems to care about them, and you, far more than I had expected.”
With a slight chuckle, he bit into the fruit gratefully, not caring about the lone drip of juice that trailed down his chin. It was too wonderful for anything to spoil it. Strange, how he had become so fond of it so quickly, becoming almost dependent on the fruit lately.
Aeserys chuckled, telling him, "Robert thinks I'm just a sweet, adorable little girl, I was technically the first Baratheon between Stannis, Robert, and Renly. But the downside is he quite likes showing me off, especially with so much to be celebrated. I've got two beautiful children, and a very handsome, loving husband. Honestly, unless Arryn puts him off it, he might throw some stupid tourney."
A servant arrived moments later with a note, and Elara read it out loud, "'Jaime Lannister is being assigned as Aeserys' personal guard starting tomorrow, and a tourney is in preparations.' Two things none of us want to deal with."
Aeserys chuckled then took another bite of her dragon heart fruit. Glancing over at Ellery, she used her thumb to wipe the stray juice and teased, "You'd think these were brought around just for your consumption the way you eat them." It was funny, Aeserys had always been incredibly fond of the fruits, but they were Valyrian in origin and she assumed that her dragon blood was what caused the preference. But maybe it was just the fruit, and the uniqueness in comparison to Westeros fruits that caused it to be so... addictive almost.
Loki gazed around the hall, bored. It was only when his eyes full upon the silver-haired siblings that his eyes narrowed. The male seemed to be harrassing the woman. He wondered if he should intervene.
Aeserys glared at her brother, who held his grip on her arm and hissed, "You are going to be married, and it might as well be something of benefit. Either him, or I hear that Bolton's Bastard was given the Bolton name." While she kept her chin tilted up in defiance, she didn't say anything further. Honestly, most anyone was preferable to Ramsay Snow. From what she had been told, he was a twisted, sick creature, more than her brother, and that was saying something.
Viserys smirked, thinking he won and tugged Aeserys over to Loki, speaking to him, "Your grace, I would like to introduce my sister, Lady Aeserys Targaryen, first of her name." He kept his hand on his sisters arm, as a reminder for her to behave.
But, Aeserys was the least obedient creature to exist and spoke for herself, deadpanned and already disinterested, "My brother is offering me up in exchange for an army to retake a giant chair of pointy metal, basically."
A Dragon in Frost
At eight o’ clock on the dot, Christian Frost entered the ballroom. Never one to play the “fashionably late” card, he chose instead to command the room as he entered, especially as the greeter repeated his name just a little too loudly.
Wearing a suit of his own design, he stood tall in the room, angular and intimidating, a neutral expression on his face that could have easily been mistaken for a scowl. He could hear the murmurs thanks to the greeter’s panicked utterance, but he did nothing to acknowledge them.
Half of him scanned the room to see who the others were wearing, what designers he’d contended with, the other half, the half that kept control and knew how to act in a professional setting, scanned the room for Aeserys.
He found her soon enough, and made his way over to her without a second thought, eyes meeting hers like a cold bolt of blue.
“I hope I’m not too late,” he said with calm ease, “Work and then the traffic suddenly became a nightmare.”
Aeserys immediately felt her mood rise. Taking a sip of her drink, she immediately disregarded the men who had been trying to hold her attention, instead replying to Christian, "You have perfect timing, actually." Turning to give the three who were a bit confused an even glare, she continued, "They were all just leaving."
The fear of the dragon was strong enough in most everyone there that the men quickly scurried away, which resulted in Aeserys rolling her eyes before returning her attention to Christian, "I'm really glad you could make it. If I hear one more person talking about my brother, I wouldn't have been responsible for the results."

Loki was frightfully bored with the evenings events. He did not try to contain his boredom either, yawning loudly when people spoke, or walking away when they were mid-sentence. He soon found himself hovering around the buffet, eating and drinking.
Aeserys glared at the back of yet another diverted guest. Moments later, a vice grip was on her upper arm and she was being dragged, her brother hissing at her, "You want to be a bitchy little cunt to everyone here, fine. But you are going to talk to the King with the blood army, and you are going to be polite, charming, and get him to choose you, or so help me-"
"Help you what, gain intelligence? I think it's a lost cause, brother dear." Her brother paused a few feet from his destincation- dragging his sister to Loki- turning to glare at the younger girl, but she continued, not bothering to keep her voice low or be discreet, "He isn't actually looking for a wife, Viserys, he's looking for a toy, something to amuse him for until he looses interest. And I am none of those things. If you want a bloody army, get it yourself."

The council men and women of Asgard have advised King!Loki that he must take a bride and produce an heir. He has unwillingly agreed that this is the logical course of action to continue his lineage. Whilst Loki most likely has a hundred bastard children, none are suitable heirs.
In honor of this decision the palace will hold a royal ball. All eligible women of noble birth throughout all realms have been invited to attend this occasion.
Reply away!
Aeserys was ready to start burning things. She did not want to be at some stupid ball. But her brother was a desperate, power-hungry, idiotic madman who would do anything for an army. He'd already tried marrying off Daenerys and that hadn't worked. So now it was her turn to be paraded around like some prized animal.
There was just one crucial error in her brother's scheme; Aeserys was not a cooperative person. Instead, she standing off to the side, glaring down anyone who attempted to chat with her, and if that didn't work, she let the obsidian scales crawl up her neck and her eyes become dragon-like. It was successfully keeping people away up to this point, and the platinum blond could see her brother fuming from across the room.
Now all she needed was for the damn party to end so she could leave.

The Stag and the Dragon
He awoke the next morning with a groan, at an extremely indecent hour. The palace was already bustling with life and trickery for the day, but Ellery would have stayed asleep nonetheless if it hadn’t been for Elara coming in to bring the couple their breakfast. He forced his aching arms to prop himself up, rubbing his eyes and thanking the woman before sliding off the bed.
Any food would seem like absolute heaven now, after having to live off hardtack and dried meat for the entirety of the journey to King’s Landing. He grinned as he saw what Elara had prepared; fresh bread, cheese, cold chicken and dracarsius fruit. It was perfect.
Aeserys growled as someone tried to pull her from her slumber. But giggled and a whine forced her up, the Targaryen girl, completely coated in scales. Her exhaustion prevented her from caring about it as she wandered groggily over to the table that had food on it.
Yawning, Aeserys immediately grabbed one of the dracarsius fruits and bit into it, swallowing the bite before greeting her husband, "Do you think we can weasel our way out of the feast tonight by saying the twins are fussy?"
Oh Fun// OPEN// Canon Verse
"Don’t let a fool like Robin Flint ruin it, he’s about to have his day ruined which I’m sure will make up for his disgusting behaviour." She felt sorry for any woman promised to him, he was a decent soldier but god’s he was a disgusting man. "It’s best to do things where he will not be present, I’m sure he’ll be leaving soon enough."
"Don’t apologise for the truth." Her words were stern, it was something to be proud of. The truth was a rare thing, in this world at least. Her eyes focused as Loras launched off the start, barrelling towards Robin Flint. It was quick and swift, a hard hit to the mid section of Flint. He wasn’t knocked off, but a clear shot that put Loras a head. Margaery cheered, standing and clapping loudly.
Aeserys smiled at Margaery. Yes, Aeserys did like the Tyrell girl. She joined the other lady in standing, clapping for Loras, and making a point of catching the Queen's eye at how sweet she seemed, making the Lannister woman scowl. After sitting back down, Aeserys mentioned, "Well, I'm sure he won't try a thing again after the feast tonight."
That was probably her least favorite portion of the day. The only reason that Aeserys had been brought to King's Landing was to be married off in a political match for her uncle, since her cousins were considered to young to be. From what Elara had managed to learn, there were three possibilities; Jaime Lannister to strengthen the alliance with Tywin, or one of the Tyrell boys, to add another purse to borrow from.
If it were one of the boys from Highgarden, there would at least be Margaery, and she would leave King's Landing. Which was as much as she hated the idea of being married, she had begged the Seven it be one of them, to get the hell out of the Lions Den, not shackled to it.
