Everybody gets followed by porn blogs though…I think they're just scam ads (like how those "college game developers" would message peeps to try out their games)
It’s really surprising how much attention people have shown since that post was reblogged. Some people agree with me, others are just being assholes saying that I have no right to tell people not to fap to my stuff.
I don’t care what people masturbate to. This isn’t my way of condemning porn blogs. They have a place on this site. What I do object to is the way they frequently alter the tags and text included with each post. It’s been an ongoing struggle with many content providers here to simply keep their own credits after something gets reblogged. Since Tumblr doesn’t lock that down in any way, anyone can reblog, retag, and post what they want when reblogging. And while it can be highly entertaining, it can also cause problems.
Simply put, changing the tags from #beautiful to #throatfucking potentially affects too many things from a provider’s standpoint. Many of the models I work with are fine with the way things flow on here. But enough aren’t ok with it. Just like on Facebook, I’m not ok with people posting derogatory comments on images I post. “Hey nice tits,” or “She would look better with a load of my cum on her face,” might seem like a compliment to the poster. But to the model, her friends and family, and to those that are considering working with me, there is a very real possibility that alone could change their mind. Facebook allows us to delete comments. Tumblr is structured differently so it won’t work the same way here. But I can absolutely block a porn blog or someone that posted offensive tags or comments here. And since that’s pretty much the limit to the controls we have, I’m going to use it as often as I see fit.
If that means I get considerably less likes and reblogs, I have zero problem with that. This blog is pretty much just a place for me to post images that aren’t suitable for Facebook anyway. I’m not on here to become e-famous.
