Its getting harder to focus anymore, though he knows he needs to. Being immortal its rare that he gets sick so in all honesty he assumed it was just exhaustion. However, as the room seem to blur and he feels himself flushing and sweating he’s slowly realizing that he is indeed sick. Still, Somnus has ever been a stubborn man and he refuses to admit defeat. Instead of lying down he grips his pen harder and shifts, returning his focus to the paperwork in front of him. After all, he promised Cor he’d help him with some work to aid his supposed cousin and future King. Yet its proving more of a challenge than he thought.

When did the sickness take hold? Perhaps it was when he sat out in the rain on guard, though it was probably the fact that he didn’t change or rest after that long watch. Or maybe the truth is he’s just been pushing himself too hard, stressed for his descendant and his brother. After such a long wait of millenia he’s shocked by how quickly things are progressing. He wants peace for his people and his family as much as anyone, but it won’t do him any good to push himself this far. He can’t help people if he’s sick after all. Shaking his head he goes to write again only for everything to spin horribly and next thing he knows he’s staring at the ceiling, having fallen on the floor. His gaze flicks weakly to the others face; that is Cor right? “I…I’m fine, just help me back up–”
