There is only one fanfic trope I absolutely hate and that is the hanahaki trope.

Like yeah, it can be done well and it’s really sweet, but I always feel kinda bad about it. Not dunking on you if you like it, because it’s not like it’s something actually harmful and whatnot. But like. It just feels like

Character A: “omg I’m coughing up flowers you have to love me back or I will die”

Character B: “oh okay cool. I totally don’t feel forced to reciprocate or coerced into a romantic relationship with you”

I just. I can’t be the only one who thinks like this, right? Right??

I do, however, like the alterations where it only occurs if it’s reciprocated but neither has confessed yet :)

Wayyyy back when I was in grade 10, I had my class finals there was this part of my English final exam where we had to write an essay in class, and once I finished i got bored and drew a Garfield on the bottom of it. I hand it in, AND AFTER MY TEACHER READS IT HE COMES OVER TO MY TABLE AND SAYS HE LIKED THE GARFIELD AND PROCEEDS TO DRAW ONE ON A NEARBY WHITEBOARD.

Don’t understand how big companies can sell out of something. Like. Just make more??? It’s not like the factories producing them suddenly blew up. It surely can’t be that hard to make another batch if the first one sold so well
