Pretty crushed by Voltron s8. Unfollowing a bunch of Voltron blogs. Nothing personal. I just canât do this right now.
đš a rose for all my followers who feel lonely
Me about this funky pain in my side: I hope Iâm not dying. Iâd be pissed.
Dying will not get you out of homework
UH I think it WILL.

âThe funeral doesnât dismiss you, I dismiss you!â
That might be the scariest thing Iâve ever heard.
I will spare you guys the details but I just fought a cockroach while naked.
Iâm afraid Iâm going to have to ask for details
I was showering. It feel from the ceiling. I ran. It ran after me. My cat stood by and watched it all. I got the bugspray. I vanquished the enemy.
Such bravery!!
ârock legend and astrophysicistâ is inarguably the most powerful title one can have. the big dick energy is thru the fucking roof
He also coauthored this book on the crinoline:
As a historical costumer and a huge fan of Queen, my mind was blown!!
Gideon Mendelâs The Ward
Memories from the heart of the Aids crisis shows true love in a time of terrible tragedy.
These heartbreaking and incredibly moving images show the affection and love shown during the height of the Aids crisis. Photographer Gideon Mendelâs project The Ward began in 1993 when he spent a number of weeks on the Charles Bell wards in Londonâs Middlesex Hospital. All the patients on the ward were dying with the knowledge that there was no cure for the disease. During this time antiretroviral medications were not available and patients on the ward faced the prospect of an early death.
Anybody else get this??

OKAY THIS IS THE BEST ONE YET
Have I told yâall about my husbandâs Fork Theory? If I did already, pretend I didnât, Iâm an old.
So the Spoon Theory is a fundamental metaphor used often in the chronic pain/chronic illness communities to explain to non-spoonies why life is harder for them. Itâs super useful and we use that all the time. But it has a corollary. You know the phrase, âStick a fork in me, Iâm done,â right? Well, Fork Theory is that one has a Fork Limit, that is, you can probably cope okay with one fork stuck in you, maybe two or three, but at some point you will lose your shit if one more fork happens. A fork could range from being hungry or having to pee to getting a new bill or a new diagnosis of illness. There are lots of different sizes of forks, and volume vs. quantity means that the fork limit is not absolute. I might be able to deal with 20 tiny little escargot fork annoyances, such as a hangnail or slightly suboptimal pants, but not even one âyou poked my trigger on purpose because you think itâs fun to see me melt downâ pitchfork.
This is super relevant for neurodivergent folk. Like, you might be able to deal with your feet being cold or a tag, but not both. Hubby describes the situation as âIt may seem weird that I just get up and leave the conversation to go to the bathroom, but you just dumped a new financial burden on me and I already had to pee, and going to the bathroom is the fork I can get rid of the fastest.â
I like this and also I like the low key point that you may be able to cope with bigger forks by finding little ones you can remove quickly. A combination of time, focus, and reduction to small stressors that can allow you to focus on the larger stressor in a constructive way.

new fave insult:
this is a weird hill youâve chosen to die on, but at least youâre dead.
straight up, i think we need to start unironically using the term megacorporation
amazon, disney, pepsi, pretty much any company that owns enough subsidiaries that youâre probably touching five of their products at any one time without realizing unless you know very well where everything you buy comes from
thatâs a megacorporation
and itâs bad, todd
WE LIVE IN AN OLIGOPOLIC KLEPTOPLUTOCRACY AND NOBODY SEEMS TO CARE
we care, itâs just hard to spell
so like iâll have to walk by it tomorrow to take a photo and prove it but during my shift delivering packages with UPS today we drove by a lawyerâs office and their signboard outside said âif youâre attacked by a bunch of clowns, go for the jugglerâ
actually tomorrow is the start of the townâs holiday market/festival and i cannot risk them changing the sign to something seasonal in the morning before i can get to it so i walked there just now
What ingame fights look like before you figured out the controls.

the implication that gamers arenât necessarily people haunts me
