Rewatching Ninjago is making me realize how TERRIFYED Lloyd is of being alone

It makes sense considering his childhood but during the fight with the Overlord he keeps begging he friends to stay with him because he doesn’t think he can do it alone but they leave him one by one and he succeeds anyway.

Then in season 3 he gets captured by the Overlord because he can’t leave his father because he “can’t do this alone.”

So many times he’ll emphasize sticking together, because he’s a good leader and because he doesn’t want to be alone again.

It makes even more sense now that we know how power is basically the power of friendship.

Those first few years after the Merge must’ve been hell.

oh OH and in season 4 he’s very desperate to prove he’s still the chosen one because before he was the Grean Ninja literally no one gave a shit a about him
