Ask and ye shall receive
The pdf
fun fact: the dnd devs actually stayed awake for 6 days straight so they could make their exhaustion system as accurate as possible
rip mike merles, you died for a good cause
A tiefling rogue, or a thiefling, if you will,
D&D monster concept
Non-newtonian slimes
Hitting them harder does less damage
Their AC is 13 and you have to roll below it to hit
especially effective against high-level players
FUCK
I made it
edit - wow tumblr, thanks for making that picture look like shit
Right in the Third Eye
Dm: Okay, roll for persuasion.
Player: Great, my rolls have been so shit today…
*rolls dice, which falls off table*
Player: SHIT
*tries to grab for it, but the dice bounces off her hand and smacks the DM between the eyes*
Player: OH MY GOD I’M SO SORRY
*everyone dies laughing*
Player: Oh my god, the dice is still spinning!
Dm and me: WHAT
*the d20 proceeded to spin for another ten seconds before landing on 18*
DM: IT’S GOOD! IT HIT MY THIRD EYE SO IT’S GOOD!
very neat idea for anyone who enjoys puzzle making!

Size comparison of Y’gathok, the Ceaseless Hunger and Bjorn, our level 20 Goliath Barbarian.
Hey quick question: why the FUCK do you have that
Imagine, from out of nowhere, your dm casually slapping this thing down on the table like any other encounter.
“Yeah, the fight will start in a sec, uh…I’ll give inspiration to whomever helps me get this fucking box out of my car.”
https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/7asxci/oc_ygathok_the_ceaseless_hunger_final_boss_of_our/ This is the reveal of this ridiculousness during their game
Please watch this reveal video it’s kickass
FUCK ME the reveal video
“CHRIS??????”
“Um, I don’t think our plan is gonna work.”
Always reblog Y'gathok
DM:*Pulls out Y’gothok* *Turns on “Open Your Heart” by Crush 40*
Wow that DM really goes above and beyond
Reblogging Ygathok because it’s been one year since we fought him!!!! It just popped up on my timeline today!
Happy one year anniversary, our precious Old God boi!!!
One year ago today, this boy was revealed.
And for you guys, I have great news: I have the stats of Y’gathok complete and a general design for “how to use him” done. However, an adventure guide is incoming to teach you how to integrate him into any of your worlds!
Goddamn. That’s how you DM with style
Terrible Character Ideas:
A monk based on a European Christian archetype. They have sworn a sacred oath to defeat the giant snail plaguing the countryside.
A dragonborn desperately trying to convince the party that they’re really an aarakocra with a skin condition that made their feathers fall out.
Your standard horny bard, but they play a washboard.
A sentient hat piloting a mannequin.
A dark elf who’s afraid of the dark, and terrified of spiders.
A peasant farmer who joined the adventure because they’re going through a midlife crisis and want to ~find themself.~
A druid who got involved because they’re the party’s weed dealer.
A werewolf who doesn’t believe in the moon.
op change the title to “Great”
OP are you kidding
THESE ARE AMAZING
I’ve absolutely played a game with a pot druid and it was funny as hell.
Insist on referring to the game as “dragons and dungeons”. It’s exactly the same semantic content, right? What’s everyone annoyed about?
“If our plan goes poorly, where should we meet up?” “The afterlife, I suspect.”
Mages must be the worst patients in a fantasy setting. Medic: She’s going cold. I think we might lose her. Cryomancer, who was taking a nap: Please get off me. Nurse: No pulse… You shouldn’t be alive… Necromancer: And…?
Surgeon: Do you want this heart transplant or not? Cleric, whose open ribcage is bursting with light, stitching the flesh back together: Sorry, reflex. Doctor: You’re overheating! Pyromancer:
wizards are just like I studied my whole life to do magic and bards are just like I can magically play the flute and I am here to fuck
it’s little things like this that I love the most
Imagine a d&d game but everyone talks like golf announcers and you all just soft clap when someone rolls a 20
“great swing from the barbarian, absolutely beautiful”
Give your players a “disintegration gun”. What it actually does is shoot people into the future. In the final session all the people they shot with it blink into existence around them at once.
OP please change your url
