I forgot to save the person who sent this house to us, so I credit her, but she said that she passes it every day, hates it b/c it has fake palm trees in Potomac, Maryland (!) and now that she’s seen the interior, hates it even more!
I must say this is an unoriginal name, “House of Love.” Puh-leeze. If I bought it, those tiles would be chipped right off the wall. It’s for sale for $4.955M.
It’s soooo white, I’m snow blind. You can’t even see the carving on the fireplace b/c there’s no contrast. How do you get up there to dust that mantel?
How do you keep this clean? You would need a cherry picker to dust the ornate details, fans and lighting. People can’t possibly “live” here.
As soon as you enter, there’s a dining room. No sitting room in sight.
Large room for just a piano.
I’m getting disoriented. The office appears to be off the main hall . Look at the size of that fireplace.
Can’t tell what proximity the kitchen is from the dining room, but at look those columns and tile work. Wow, 4 ovens in the wall and 2 in the stove.
Large bar and wine storage.
Now, this is a sitting area off the kitchen.
And, there’s another dining area. The whole area is open to another open area.
And, the open area has steps down to an indoor pool. Kind of reminds me of the center court of a mall.
I’ve never seen such a confusing layout- is that a mural or a movie screen above that wall? Now I’m not even sure if that’s a pool. It looks like a water feature.

Then, thru these glass doors thru a marble hall is the en suite bath.
The closet is so big, it looks like a store.
Down the hall is another of the 5 bds. and a bath- there are 7.5 of them.
Up here is a sitting room
Look at all the fans- it must be hard to cool this big place, let alone heat it in winter.
Clouds on the ceiling and an elevator.
Funny that the patio is so plain.
And, here’s a putting green.
Here’s the layout and it still looks confusing. I’ve never seen such a complex house.
