Despite these horrific times around the world, one thing I am truly blessed and grateful for are the remarkable connections I’ve made throughout my travels in Colombia. Before I left for my 3-month trip, I remember someone asking me, “Why am I traveling alone?” I remember pausing and questioning myself for a split second, then remembering what I’ve known for the past decade as an avid traveler who frequently travels “alone”. Firstly, I never travel alone because I’ve learned to become my own best friend, as everyone should try to learn. Secondly, I am traveling by myself, not “alone”! Finally, I now trust the universe. Once you realize this, and have faith in the universe, it guides you to people, places, and experiences that match your vibration. So during a 3-month journey around Colombia, I was never really “alone”, my days were filled with much laughter with new friends, who quickly became good friends, bonded by like experiences and instant connections. That’s why I travel by myself, to rediscover my faith in humanity. To rediscover myself and what I bring to the world. Thank you all for reminding me that making others laugh and smile, unifying people, and bringing light to the party is what my power is. In summation, don’t be afraid to travel “alone”, because you are never alone! #newfriends #lifeoftravel #makingconnections #livelaughlove #livethedream #trusttheuniverse #positivevibes #love #fun #happy #traveling #travelvlogger #colombia #southamerica #iamajae #bogota #travelphotography #photographer #artistsofinstagram #travelphoto #dowhatmakesyouhappy (at Bogotá, Colombia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDXT7DeDgNk/?igshid=fk0tco5t1rsp
