Let’s just celebrate our amazing Olympics medalists one last time!
And so ends another Olympics. By far my most favourite part of the closing ceremonies were the dancing vegetables! Where can I get one of those costumes for Halloween?
Who is ready for the Summer Olympics in Rio?
The Opening Ceremonies are this Friday (Aug 5)!

Happy 149th birthday Canada!!
Anton Yelchin (March 11, 1989 - June 19, 2016)
An extremely talented young actor gone too soon.
RIP.
So sad to hear that Alan Rickman passed away today. He was an amazing actor that I’ve grown up watching. There are so many movies that wouldn’t be the same without his amazing talent.
Some of my favourite roles he played are: - Severus Snape (Harry Potter series) - Marvin (The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy) - Alexander Dane (Galaxy Quest) - Hans Gruber (Die Hard)
RIP Alan Rickman.
... and some people think English makes sense.
Thoughts and prayers go out to all of France tonight.
This is how I’ve felt all day today. Thanks Daylight Savings Time!
Just came back from Newsies at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.
Great show! In town until November 1st.
After seven seasons, we finally have an American Ninja Warrior!
Not just one. Two contestants completed Stage 4 of Mt. Midoriyama.
Geoff Britten (bottom photo) went first and became the first ever American Ninja Warrior. However, Isaac Caldiero (top photo) ascended Stage 4 in the fastest time and claimed the $1 million prize and the official title of American Ninja Warrior.
“Winning this event always seemed impossible. As the first American Ninja Warrior I want to use this opportunity to inspire the world to find your impossible and conquer it.” - Isaac Caldiero
America’s favorite dancer is Gaby Diaz!
Gaby takes the title for Team Stage and wins the opportunity to dance in J. Lo’s Vegas show.
Jaja landed in second as Team Street’s winner, followed by Virgil on Team Street and Hailee on Team Stage.
Canadian duo Felix Auger-Aliassime, 15, and Denis Shapovalov, 16, were victorious in their U.S. Open debut, capturing the Junior Boys' Doubles Title on Sunday beating the American team of Brandon Holt and Riley Smith in straight sets, 7-5, 7-6 (7-3).
Congratulations to Felix and Denis!
Who is going to win So You Think You Can Dance: Stage vs Street?
Gaby? Hailee? Virgil? Jaja?
Hitchbot deserved better.
Sad that he could get around Canada and Europe safely but then couldn’t last 3 days in the USA.
I hope Jesse and Prank Vs Prank had nothing to do with his demise.
