To break free--

I balance out my melancholy with silly–and so far, I’ve survived. Today, I wore pink socks and drew a smiley face on my wrist. My battle ready armor is my budding inner child. And honestly, I feel a little bit better than I did when I first woke up. Still, I am always surprised that the little girl survived.

I just want to be something worth being proud of but i dont think that will ever happen. My life is not my own and i am just a bitter reflection.

I lie in wait where rocks and hard places are pulverized into brittle fossils of hope; creating dreams using star dust laden memories for foundation; a choice being the culmination of indiscretion and indecision; where a vision skewed in smoke can no longer think straight-- we lay in wait with fate.

Just when things are good again; I find out some fucked up shit.
