I’m lowkey obsessed with the dynamic between Tom’s Tybalt and John’s Mercutio. Even though Tom is about 14 years older than John, their energy just works so well. i genuinely don’t get why people keep comparing it to Shakespeare and saying that’s not canon, it’s a stage adaptation AND DMN it’s literally allowed to interpret the characters differently AND THEY DID IT SO WELL

Omggg this feels like a miracle. I got 5/5 on my theatre history exam and the topics were Shakespeare's comedies and King Lear. I was manifesting Romeo and Juliet, but whatever, I love all of Shakespeare. SO HAPPY RN
