We are officially moving to Detroit, Michigan! Yep, that’s right from “BK” to the “D”… Sort of feel like that gives me some street credit.
… oh yes, we are also expecting another baby! Can you imagine that?
And, I apologize for being almost completely M.I.A on this blog (not that I have ever been consistent but I often think on it)
It went/ is going like this:
Took pregnancy test Christmas eve
Decided to relocate Christmas day
Decided relocation would be to Detroit this Summer
Figured I should establish my business (Dancing Mamas turned Dancing Tots, and now Lil’ Dumplins …. Yeesh, stay posted on that!) before baby.
Driving to Detroit on May 2nd!
This is me right now among a halfway packed house… I cant tell you how brilliant I feel for deciding to start the packing at the end of March because we have a lot of shit! beautiful priceless items! It’s extremely hard packing with a three year old telling you: ” I am going to miss that so much, don’t throw it out, I love it, I wont memember it!” and a husband who is holding on to a light colored jean jacket because “it will come back into style”.
Last but not least, I decided to enter a dance festival that will take place at the beginning of June in Detroit. There is no better way to relocate.. lol I figured: why not? Yes, I will be about 6/7 months pregnant and adjusting to my new life while preparing for high functioning sleep deprivation when the baby arrives… but that’s life, I bet you all can tell me stories of mothers who have juggled far more!
