Anyway there are couples who are together not only because they're perfect for each other but because them being together is better for all of humanity. Ian and Mickey are absolutely that couple. They broke up for a long weekend and it lead to multiple assaults and property damage. They keep each other contained.

We really get to see married Ian and Mickey. It may only be one season. It might suck anyway. But we get to see married Ian and Mickey. Two idiots who were never supposed to make it, fully married and (trying their best to be) in a truly healthy relationship
