The final day of IBVS week, with some much needed self-indulgent Drisaac!
This was really fun to do! I hope another event like this comes up in the future!
IBVS belongs to @onebizarrekai! Kai, thank you so much for creating IBVS and making IBVS week! IBVS has really influenced my life in a positive way, and I’m glad that I was able to participate in this event!

Drew’s vision was blurry when he woke up. His head was killing him, and his throat hurt like crazy. He placed a hand on his forehead, scowling once he discovered that he was burning up.
“Shit,” Drew grumbled, his voice hoarse. He hated being sick. He shut his eyes tightly, hoping that would make his headache go away. The next thing he knew, something cold and wet being placed on his forehead.
Drew opened his eyes. Isaac was standing above him, placing a wet washcloth on his forehead, a concerned look on his face.
“Isaac?” Drew croaked, not really knowing what was going on. He guessed that he must have fallen asleep, but it didn’t really answer why Isaac was in his bedroom. “What are you doing here?”
“You didn’t show up to school, so I got worried,” Isaac said. “You look really sick. Doesn’t your grandma take care of you when you’re sick?”
“She had to help-” Drew suddenly broke into a loud coughing fit. Isaac carefully sat Drew up, patting him on the back gently until the coughing subsided. “Sorry…”
“Don’t apologize. It’s not your fault you’re sick.” Isaac laid Drew back down again. “I’m going to go make you some soup, okay? I’ll be downstairs if you need me.”
“Okay.” Drew sighed, watching Isaac get up and leave the room. He returned five minutes later, carrying a bowl of chicken soup. He handed it to Drew, who took it with shaky hands.
“Do you need help?” Isaac asked, looking at his ill boyfriend.
“I-I got it. You didn’t have to skip school just to take care of me.”
“I wanted to.” Isaac gently stroked Drew’s cheek. “I care about your well-being. So what if I miss school to take care of you? I can deal with the consequences later.”
Drew smiled softly. “Thank you, Isaac. I love you.”
“I love you too, baby.”
