Whumpee taken in by a gang or gangster after an injury in the city or something, they become close after a little while, and whumpee is fully seen as part of the group, especially close with the man who rescued her. In an altercation with the police there is a chase, Whumpee and Gangster are running away as best they can, Gangster knows they won't get out without a distraction, and Whumpee is slowing down.

Gangster makes the decision, they turn into a tight corner and hands whumpee his gun "Ok Whumpee, I need you to take this and keep running, don't look back for anything. I'll be right behind you." The last part was a lie, he was sure of it. But if it meant keeping her alive it was worth it. Whumpee kept running, the police had caught up with Gangster.

And there it was, there was no denying it, a gunshot rang through Whumpee's ears, she feared the worst, but did as Gangster said and kept running.

Remus and his unpredictable health episodes vs Remus and his desire to not have groups of people fuss over him. He'll randomly put his head on his desk for a minute and no one will realize it's because he fainted. He'll throw up in his to go cup and not mention it until Sirius tries to kiss him. He’s sat on the curb side because his hearts beating too fast to stand and everyone thinks he’s in a mood. Unless he’s on the cusp of dying he won’t mention anything to anyone.
