a box city? [CA OPEN]
She knew that the scientists had a terrible sense of humor but this was getting out of hand, but for some reason, the sadistic side of her actually enjoyed this. Boxes, no, she didn’t meant that the new apartment complexes were shaped as boxes, she meant that they were literal boxes. Cardboard boxes shaped into little shelters for the incoming resident to join.
Though the question being,
“Where do they find all of these people to shove them in this city?”
There were more and more resident in this city than the Sword has anticipated as she continued to float and stare down at the cardboard homes.
“…”
She was half tempted to just destroy one, just to see what somebody’s reaction was.
“Though…”
Her head tilted.
“It’s not a very funny joke.”
What had brought her to the so-called "box town"? Even she had no clue. But what she did know was that she had been lucky enough to, by a small margin, avoid the limit that denied future residents from living in apartments. And the result of the limit? This.
Eureka, hoping that she wasn't unwelcome company, approached the stranger, stopping at a certain distance.
"I wonder."
The green-haired female piped up from a few feet away, stepping closer as she joined the other in her questioning.
"I wasn't aware that there were this many people that existed, regardless..."
A slim finger brushed against her lips. Coming from a flying aircraft where she only came in contact with the same amount of people every day, it was no wonder she was clueless about other beings. Bright violet eyes glanced around, alight with curiosity. How would they even manage to live in such small forms of shelter?
