I saw your vaguepost abt how backwards for fans to assign/headcanon nonbinary characters an assigned sex and totally agree with your sentiment! (If I'm interpreting your post correctly, I apologize if I'm misinterpreting it!)

I've been looking at a bunch of random theories since Ch. 5 came out and I think it's really weird how because I've seen a lot of discussion of what Kris' assigned gender at birth is. I've seen theories of Aqua being a parallel to Kris but there's a subset of people who say this is "evidence" for AFAB Kris. Then people were debating that with the Mancountry thing in Ch. 3. And IDK I just thought that was really weird to be so quick to assign a sex to someone and was weirded out at how nobody else was weirded out! Why should it matter what a nonbinary individual's AGAB is?? Can't we just exist how we are?

you interpreted me correctly! and yes, I totally agree — I don't normally get this worked up about people misgendering nonbinary characters (I'm a hollow knight fan, I'm more than used to it 😭) but for some reason kris AGAB speculation bothers me more than it should
