I really like the idea of Lan Wangji quietly breaking cloud recesses rules. Like there’s 3000+ surely there’s got to be some outdated rules. It’s wouldn’t start until after Wei Wuxian’s death he’s too much of a model citizen before that.

He respects the rules for the most part but surely there’s some dumb rules like ‘no pacing up and down the corridors on a Friday’ or ‘instruments must be tuned before use’ or maybe he would stay up a little bit past curfew because he was simply enjoying his book.

Nothing major just small rebellions. Also I’m a big believer in Lan Wangji having tattoo specifically having bunny tattoos.

Adding to this it’s not even that he’s rebellious just that he started asking why.

I feel like this is something he also passed on to his students. He didn’t just teach the cloud recesses rules but taught them to understand them and to question them.

Look Scumplane is one of my favorite scum villain ships but omg I know it would be a ticking time bomb. Shen Jiu is a heavily traumatized person and the moment he learns about Shang Qinghua being the creator of the universe would cause him to absolutely spiral. Finding out the one person you finally can find comfort in after years is also the person behind all your pain and suffering would absolutely make him loose it.

I feel like I need to see Shang Qinghua and Nie Huaisang locked into a room together, just to see what would happen. I feel like they’re such similar characters and I don’t know if they would rip each other apart or team up and become even more deadly together.
