Good end!
“You probably shouldn’t be outside by this weather.”
Tomoki cocks up an eyebrow, amused. “Aren’t you also out there in the middle of the snow?”
Daisuke laughs, a puff a white smoke escaping his mouth. “I was coming to visit you! I’m allowed to be outside. Unlike some who hang in their backyard at -5°C.”
“As if the cold could hurt me.” Still, Tomoki gets up, give his snowman a last pat, and moves to unlock the door. The winter might as well be one of his children, but Daisuke has no such affinities.
“How was your match?” Daisuke asks, fingers moving to remove his coat.
Tomoki grabs it from him and hangs it. “Obviously, I won. When don’t I?” He flexes- which loses a lot of effect since he is still wrapped in three layers of clothes, but whatever. He’s the king of boxing, and that’s the tea.
“Truth.” Daisuke chuckle. “I’m glad I’ve never personally been under your fists yet.”
Without his coat, Daisuke loosks so much thinner. Scrawnier, some might say. Without his scarf, his neck is exposed. Without his gloves, his fingers look so fragile.
Once upon a time, the sight would have made Tomoki tremble.
He barely spare it a glance.
“Come over here! I’ll make you tea.”
“With boiling water, I hope?”
“Hey! I got better at handling heat!”
