J. Jones a.k.a ICGAFIYLMON was born and raised in Oakland, CA. Music and Sports have always played a significant role in his life. He stepped away from sports after the untimely death of his father and started to seriously pursue music after a conversation with his childhood friend Djuan "PHAT WEEZY" Bush who was a talented Singer/Rapper himself. A few years later he linked up with Yung Gold and became apart of MADE BOIZ. ICGAFIYLMON is a very versatile MC, he grew up in one of the most dangerous cities in America (East Oakland, CA) where he saw and experienced some of the harsh realities of the world. He speaks from a place of love, pain, and desire to be recognized as a great artist not just another dude from the hood.
