I have this fun idea in my head where Jinshi sends Maomao a box labeled " somewhat sizeable frog" and she opens it and its just one of those huge ass toads like half the size of her head.

Then Maomao returns a box labeled "rather large frog" and its a little bitty one, like a poison dart size.

Jinshi returns with "a rather small and underwhelming frog" that is a wooden frog statue large enough for Maomao to sit on.

This continues back and forth as playful banter, but eventually gets to the point that Jinshi is now conscripting 1500 stonemasons to carve "the smallest and least noticeable frog" into the side of the mountain. Meanwhile Maomao has given herself pneumonia after living two months in some remote forest searching for the "largest and most imposing frog", which could sit on the tip of her pinkie.
