My grandparents behave as if we are Irish, so growing up I believed I was and would tell people. Made sense cause of my fair appearance. My grandparents would always cook corn-beef and cabbage on st. Patrick's day, buy us 'kiss me I’m Irish' shirts, ect. Only about two years ago my brother received yet another st. P's gift: a weird irish hat. In frustration over the gift, he mentioned that we weren't even Irish. Apparently he had known that we werent! News to me..
