After his mother's death, Nelly drowns in the palms of his small religious town where folks believe wolves stalk the woods to punish men. At home, Nelly's resentful uncle keeps him on a tight leash. At night, Nelly sneaks out to catch glimpses of the older man who has taken to feeding Nelly like a stray animal. Deep down in his rotten red insides, Nelly knows he is a wolf.

The doujin circle I work with has released an introductory zine!

I have a new short story in this edition. It’s about the evolving relationship between two brothers as their jobs begin to affect their personal lives. It’s bittersweet and a little horrifying, because as Leo Tolstoy once wrote, “All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”

Oh, I wasn’t thinking of roleplay. I was thinking standard homophobia and misogyny. Tiefer teasing Jehan for getting aroused by men by making him dress like a woman or making him do things associated with femininity. “If you like men so much, then you must be a cootie-having girl. Let me show you how much of a woman you really are.”
