2022 vs 2015. I did the redraw bit too fast so the lighting etc is bit shit and I for sure did not come to conclusion what kind of clothes would be good for Torin bc nothing worked (lmao my skills weren't enough) I was more focused on the pose. I found the old pic last friday and felt that now I have to draw it again even tho I have no time to draw properly XD

Emeryne's crow friend, blueberry, flies to see her in the middle of winter. Thank goodness she's okay, it's so cold these days and- oops.

(also it's hard to tell but darcy/blueberry is carrying an acorn in her mouth that's stem is connected to another acorn, as a sweet gift of love)

I have finally started to wrote my first ever own comic/webtoon and while I write it I want to practise drawing all my characters as much as possible to get a consistent style and to be quicker. These are just sketches but even they took me over 3 hours 😅

I also need to practise taking care of my wrists, my school work destroyed them once again so they are aching a lot when I draw which also slows me down and affects how often I draw. But to achieve what I want I need to draw at least every other day even just a little!

But yeah, this is Gayla and I have been thinking about story for her since I (think) was 13y which was about 10 years ago 😬😳 I'm glad I have finally started to write her story instead of keeping it in my head but I also realised that her story is now a really popular genre/niche ( the villain as a mc tho she isn't just a villain but my storyline now seems really generic 🥲)

My amethyst-inspired mermaid is one of my favorite pieces for sure. This was also the first time I realized my love for purple, I always loved pink but in art, purple seems to be my thing. I also love pastel yellow and blue IRL.

I'm trying to branch out with my social media and as Twitter is now dying out I'm giving Tumblr a chance. I'm going to post my older art first (which can be found in ig and artfol) and then just post whatever I want as my ig is supposed to be more like a portfolio. Maybe I will find friends and community from here, I'm terrible at socializing on the internet. <3
