"i'm too poor for this." leaving his fridge open, a yawn escapes the male as he goes over to the coffee maker with a bowl of cereal. and unfortunately, ryou's conscious over his actions as he pours hot liquid into it; proceeding to jump on the counter and sit eating his 'breakfast.' ( at least he's eating something instead of chugging coffee and energy drinks though .... )

UNFORTUNATELY, yuki was also awake and conscious of his actions. she stood near the door way, hands on her hips and one eyebrow raised as she witnesses the crime he’s committing. her previously loose bun was coming undone and her bangs were sticking; proof yuki had just woken up from ryou’s rummaging. she clears her throat to draw his attention, and guilty as charged, ryou looks at her and he has the audacity to eat a spoonful of his ‘breakfast’.
“what do you– oh, god, i’m not awake enough for this.” she grumbles and rubs her forehead. this wasn’t new of course, yuki’s known ryou would do anything to just get by and wouldn’t give it much thought. hence the cereal as some type of nutrients and coffee to keep him awake even though it was the weekend.
“alright!” she startles him when she claps her hands together, a glint in her eyes now. “put that in the sink now before i throw it in the trash, and then give me, tops fifteen minutes, to make us actual breakfast.” yuki’s quick to silence him with holding an accusing finger towards him, “you don’t get to say no because you’ll thank me later when your stomach’s full of arm pancakes. now hop to it.”
