Hiro will be a background muse only used for thread purposes where he is specifically needed to say a few things. He won’t be getting any starter calls, nor will he be open for asks. Muse has completely become lost on him after how his main verse collapsed, please respect this.

So, I was thinking, maybe we can go to the park for a picnic?" since restaurants are crowded this day, and the park has many secluded places where people won't recognise Senri; they can watch a movie some other day.

Now he’s not sure what to do. It was Chiyo’s idea in the first place for him to get something for Emi. He’s still new to all this.

Dressed in his casual clothing, Senri knocks on Emi’s dorm room door. He is holding a box of chocolates and flowers behind his back so she does not see.

❝ . . . ❞ She stands on the other side of the door for a long while, debating on if it's worth troubling him and making her presence known. How long had it been since the break up? It had been some time, for sure. Raising her arm to give a knock, Elizabeth's hand lingers another moment longer, mere inches away from the door's wooden surface. It's . . . There's . . . nothing she can do, or any words she can say that will ease his pain.

     ˙ Is this even living, anymore...? How often has the thought to simply end it crossed his mind? Several, he'll admit. A mere figment of his imagination - he doesn't plan to take his own life, but...

     ˙ The soft knock draws his gaze to the door, lips cracked and dry, tongue heavy in his mouth, refusing the form any words, raspy throat refusing to let out a sound.

  ˙ He closes his eyes tightly, the tip of his pen creating a small ink blotch on the paper from all the times it touched it without writing a single word.

  ˙ For years now, Christmas had been a cheerful affair... Him, Ai, their families, their dreams and wishes for the future... but now? The holiday just leaves him feeling empty now...

  ˙ Everything leaves him feeling empty now.

  ˙ Anger, sadness, hurt, regret... A maelstrom of difficult emotions takes over his mind at regular intervals no matter what he does anymore, pushing him to the limit, pushing him to the edge... especially regret. But, regret for what...? Ever being with her? Or watching her walk away from him...?

  ˙ They will never be the same. He doesn't think he'll ever be able to trust her again, let alone to marry her, to turn for her and spend hundreds of years together...

  ˙ But he does know that he doesn't want to add yet another regret atop of the ever growing pile of them.

  ˙ It is for that reason that Ai receives a rather generic Christmas card, clearly dug out of some dusty drawer and a left over purchase from a few years ago, with a shaky but familiar handwriting sending on single message... the first message ever since all Hell had let loose on them, a small and uncertain attempt at a better tomorrow-
