Oh god. This is too real. I’m not ready for this. I wasn’t ready when the news came out on Marathon Monday and I’m still not ready, now three weeks later. Castle will never be the same without Stana. 😣😖😫😩😭😭😭😢😢
Alan was my friend and so this is hard to write because I have just kissed him goodbye. What I remember most in this moment of painful leave-taking is his humor, intelligence, wisdom and kindness. His capacity to fell you with a look or lift you with a word. The intransigence which made him the great artist he was—his ineffable and cynical wit, the clarity with which he saw most things, including me, and the fact that he never spared me the view. I learned a lot from him. He was the finest of actors and directors. I couldn’t wait to see what he was going to do with his face next. I consider myself hugely privileged to have worked with him so many times and to have been directed by him. He was the ultimate ally. In life, art and politics. I trusted him absolutely. He was, above all things, a rare and unique human being and we shall not see his like again.

Blindspot Episode Title Anagrams
1. If you have not noticed, Blindspot episode titles are solvable by anagrams. So far, we have 10 episode titles in season One. So far, this is what is solved:
1x01 Pilot “Woe Has Joined" = “Who Is Jane Doe”
1x02 “A Stray Howl” = “Taylor Shaw”
1x03 “Eight Slim Grims” = “The Missing Girl”
1x04 “Bone May Rot” = “Or Maybe Not”
1x05 “Split the Law” = “The Past Will”
1x06 “Cede Your Soul” = “Cloud Your Eyes”
1x07 “Sent On Tour” = “Trust No One”
1x08 “Persecute Envoys” = “Suspect Everyone”
1x09 “Authenticate Flirt” = “Lift the Curtain”
1x10 “Evil Handmade Instrument” = “and Unveil the Mastermind”
So if you write it as a paragraph, it becomes;
Who is Jane Doe? Taylor Shaw, the missing girl - Or maybe not? The past will cloud your eyes, so trust no one and suspect everyone. Lift the curtain and unveil the mastermind!
This show is just awesome!!!
This is BRILLIANT. O__O

Strong words to use on a Resume
If you have ever had to write a resume for work or for an application, then you know the hardest part is figuring out what type of words to use that sound professional and and intelligent.
Example: If an application asks you if you have any relevant experience for a job at a day care center and you have experience, like you have babysat children. You would look at the words in the columns to see what words you should use that will help your resume stand out. You might put down “Have supervised and attended to children on a regular basis.”
I hope this is helpful to you.
Now this is a great resume list of action words. I love that it’s broken down by types of jobs. Saving for future use.
#ugh this makes me feel things #their love makes them who they are #makes the masks they wear slip away #he’s so serious and grounded and everything he’s not on the outside #she’s light and joyful and everything she’s shoved down for so long #they are more perfect for each other than I think anyone ever realized (via berkieryan)
I’m not crying I just have those tags in my eye.
i miss this.

Favourite Romantic Relationship + Castle
↳ Richard Castle & Kate Beckett ♥
This season has seriously set me off against this show, but since these gifs reference their relationship prior to this atrocious season, it deserves a reblog. It’s a nice reminder of how it once was.
Ah, yes. The “I’m about to fuck your brains out” face.
“I have never given up hope. Not since the day we met.”
If my residents rip these down, I'm going to be so pissed.
The Answer Man
Also known as: The Dreams of the Romans, and Arlen Faber
Stars: Jeff Daniels, Lauren Graham, and Lou Taylor Pucci
Favorite Quote: “I love kids. They're short, highly emotional people who don't know anything. They rely on their creativity and imagination to get by in the world. A world, I might add, filled with giants. Amazing feat.” -Arlen Faber
I really liked this film. I enjoyed the subtleties in the storytelling and the reveal of plotpoints (thoroughly enjoyed that). I also really appreciated how the film played with character development. Jeff Daniel’s portrayal of Arlen Faber makes me think of Will McAvoy from the Newsroom--a man forever disgruntled with himself dispite his achievements--and Lauren Graham’s Elizabeth is reminiscent of Lorelai Gilmore as a single mother and in her adorkableness.
The humor throughout the film was just my type--irreverent and ridiculous--and I anticipated this film to end up on my favorites list. The ending however was a little disappointing, where I felt the resoluting scenes toe the line of realistic conclusions and dues ex machina intervention one too many times and chose the former when it should’ve gone with the latter and vice versa. I think I expected more from the ending, considering how much I had been enjoying the film up to that point, but all in all, I would still say I enjoyed the movie.
Overall, I’d give it a B rating. Decent watch!
WHY IS THIS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND
So for all you feminists out their who think that all men should die, remember, you are not a feminist.
reblogging for the last comment
Legit question, I’m not trying to hate on feminists or anything. Why is it called feminist if they’re for equality?
castiel-knight-of-hell:
That’s a very good question and thank you for asking so politely.
The word feminism was coined by Charles Fourier in 1837, a French philosopher who advocated for the emancipation of women because he believed society treated women as slaves. We weren’t allowed to vote, own anything, or work a real job. Women were ruled by their fathers/household patriarch until they married at which time they’d be under the rule of their husband. If a woman did not belong to male household she was shunned by society and had very little means to make money, most of them unsavory. You know the idiom “rule of thumb”? That comes from a running joke that started in the 1600s, and was still around in Fourier’s time, that said it was okay for a man to beat a woman with a stick as long as it wasn’t any thicker than his thumb.
The point of the word feminist, and the feminist movement, has never been to say that women are better than men. The point is that women and things associated with women have been given a lesser place in society and we want to bring those things up to a place of equality. The focus is on the feminine because that’s what’s being pushed down. However, focusing on the feminine does not mean we’re focusing only women. Men are belittled and called “less of a man” anytime they portray a trait that is associated with femininity. If women and the feminine were equal to men and masculinity then that wouldn’t happen. Feminism is about raising up things associated with females to have an equal place in society as the things associated with males. It’s called feminism, not equalism, because the focus is on raising up not tearing down. Equalism would suggest that male things need to come down to a lower level so that female things can meet it in the middle. That’s not the point. The point is to raise up the feminine so that it’s on the same playing field that the masculine is already on. We don’t want men to lower themselves, we just want them to make room for us.
This needs to be spread far and wide to everyone on tumblr.
ALL OF THIS.
THANK YOU
This is very thorough explanation, thank you!
Walk of Shame - May 2, 2014 [x]
Our top story: A deranged woman in a yellow dress is rampaging through Los Angeles.
Not gonna lie, I really liked this film! The title made me a little hesitant but the humor shown through in the trailers and after watching the film itself, totally worth it. Completely hilarious how this woman is just ridiculously down on her luck. And the ending was so rewarding--way to own the title and make it ironic instead of insulting. Mad props.
