Baguio.

First time ko to magtravel to Baguio.

I was depressed and dumating ako sa point na gusto kong tapusin nalang talaga.. Parang sobrang bigat nung mundo ko. Tapos dagdagan pa na, iniinvalidate yung pinagdadaanan ko.

I took this trip alone. First time sa buong buhay ko na babyahe ako ng ako lang, walang chaperone, jowa, or kapatid na kasama. 

I can say worth it naman, wala na sakin yung suicidal thoughts. I was reminded that my life right now, it’s exactly what I prayed for 8 years ago..

It’s been a while... 

I’ve been through a lot in the past couple of years, I also got married. A lot of shit went down but I am so proud of myself. 

I remember when I was a kid lagi ako sinasama ng Mommy ko kung saan saan. I remember she brought me sa Makati and then may mga babae akong nakitang naka uniform. Naka suot ng maganda, they seem confident and they carry themselves really well. 

So sabi ko, pag laki ko I want to be like that. 

I grew up with a lot of criticism from my family. I am not pretty enough. Not talented enough. Not sexy enough. I’ve never been enough for this people. 

So I worked hard to improve on all of those things and so much more. But most importantly, I did not grew up like them. I always think that there are a lot of people better than me and I still have a lot to learn. Marami pa akong bigas na kakainin. 

But then, these past few months, I noticed that I always get attention or get stared at. And then I remember her, the 10-year-old me.

Turning 26 this 28th.

Ganun pala kabilis yun noh. 

Parang kahapon lang naglalaro pa ko ng bente-uno sa labas ng bahay namin sa Tondo. Parang kahapon lang nung una akong madapa at dumugo ang nguso. 

Parang kahapon lang nung una akong magmahal at mabigo. 

Now that I’m old enough, naintindihan ko na that time is really a precious thing. We should really cherish it.
