While Yang was hunting, she usually didn’t see anyone else. She liked to wander out far, both to see more of the Great White and prevent everyone only hunting close to the village and driving away all the animals in the area. So it was unusual to see barely-there human footprints in the snow while she worked, and sure enough rounding the trees brought her face-to-face with someone only vaguely familiar.
“Oh, you’re the one who’s always around with… that guy.” It wasn’t like she’d learned his name, either. At least she recognized him at all. “Hey, we’re pretty far out from the village. Are you alright out here without a weapon or anything?”
She might be a hunter instead of a Huntress these days, but that didn’t mean she didn’t want to help if she could offer it.
“The one who’s always around that guy....” He gave a laugh at the title, the action causing his lungs to freeze. Well, he deserved something like that, considering he was hovering around Caelum incessantly. After all, he had felt guilt for always leaving them behind in the shop ( and he was here, unable to go back ), but now they were granted some time together. “You're not wrong.”
The other had a fair point, though. He couldn’t definitively say he’d be alright, even though he had the feeling nothing would be out for blood for him today. He wasn’t Muriel nor Lucio, and he made a mental note to be more careful next time. He didn’t have magic to help him, after all. “I didn’t realize I was that far out. I feel like I’ll be fine, unless.. is there something nearby I should be worried about?”
