i think another reason i feel so connected to fregley is because he reminds me of somebody dear to me. i have a sibling who frequently gets calls home because they have autism and many issues caused by disorders like ARFID and IBS. they overproduce BO and struggles with bathroom habits, they have anger issues and mental health problems that nobody knows about. but theyre not to be babied-- theyre one of the funniest people i know and one of the most human. i spend every moment at home with my sibling because i love them, genuinely love them, and wouldnt trade them for anyone in the world.

fregley reminds me so much of my sibling. i love him like my own, and i love my family.

fregley reminds people to give people grace when you dont know what their home life looks like, or whats going on in their head. even if theyre a little odd, everybody is human just like you.

also a small thing about the doawk musical is fregleys THEME. not his song, his theme. his little motif. he has this jazzy beat whenever he has dialogue and its so cute and its perfect for his character
