Sick again 😭

I hate getting sick. I don't think anyone actually enjoys it but it still sucks. Grateful that at least fever decided it had peaked and then broke. Worried I would have to go hospital. Napping a lot and still have fuzzy brain. No more vomiting though, and only a few bouts when I had. Hopefully this means I am on the mend and no relapsing!

Second time we've had a fire in our building due to the same problem. I would have to check my journal but I don't think it's been a full year? The first time was the lobby/package room. The ballast light blew and had the room catch fire. Thankfully, no one was injured and the damaged didn't go any further.

The other day, the gym ballast light blew, caught fire and because of the rubber mats noxious fumes. Again, no one was injured and damaged was contained to the one room.

We knew there was an electrical problem with poor worong for awhile but not that badly! I am thankful we have fore extinguishers in our unit!

Why does the cough always linger?

I really hate getting sick. This time was no exception. Almost had to go to hospital because high fever for days straight. Thankfully, it finally went down then broke. Almost fully recovered but still coughing and my ribs and abs are so sore. Dummy me forgot to hug a pillow. Thankful the runny nose and congestion didn't decide to stick around. Already went through a whole box of tissue and had opened a second.

Elevator in our building has been down for officially 2 weeks. 17 days unofficially. We are expecting 3 packages in the next few days, and I am sick 😭

Life is a bit annoying

Our elevator has been out for a week and might be another week before it gets fixed. So the stairs it is. So many stairs!😭 I am just extremely happy I haven't had to use my crutches or I would stay home and ignore everything.

Power also went out -thankfully only an hour- but we have strong wind and rain advisories for the weekend and possibly snow. I am adding more blankets to my bed!!

My mom ended up in hospital for Thanksgiving. She went in because she was having an allergic reaction to her meds. While there they found out she had an elevated heart rate and tried to get that under control. She has a heart condition so we both appreciated that. She also had fluid around her heart and lungs. So she was kept in hospital for a few days. I'm glad she's home now even though they have upped her medication. Hopefully, it will help.
