If you don’t know, it’s okay, I’m just wondering, canonically, in the Mario Games, are Mario & Luigi from Brooklyn, New York? If not, where are they from?

(The Mario Movies got me thinking about that since Mario & Luigi are depicted as being from Brooklyn, New York.)

In the games? Naw, doesn't seem like it.

This doesn't look like Brooklyn to me.

Generously I guess you could say this is some kind of suburb neighboring New Donk City and the boys got a job in the big city once they got older though. Or we can assume it's in the Mushroom Kingdom and at some point they traveled to reside in New Donk.

But there's definitely never been any mention of Brooklyn New York in the games.

Honestly y'all I'm just gonna come out and say it..I've ALWAYS been a fan of The Koopalings since 2009 when I played NSMBW as a kid. Now I definitely agree that they got overused overtime especially over the rest of the Nsmb games and even afterwards which tarnished their reputation and such but besides that, I've never hated these chaotic gremlins! The Koopalings have so much more to them, they definitely shine the most in games like Color Splash and Paper Jam, and even the cartoons and comics where we get to see the personalities of all seven of them to show how different and unique they are from one another, where they have fully fleshed out and well established characteristics, I honestly wished more people saw that. ♥️
